❗️🇺🇦 The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) explained the reason for the arrest of American Gonzalo Lira in Kharkov
Blogger Gonzalo Lira, who has Chilean and American citizenship, was arrested in Kharkov for “systematically justifying Russian aggression” and distributing “pro-Russian theses on his social networks,” violating Ukrainian law. The Security Service of Ukraine reported this in response to a statement by businessman Elon Musk.
The day before, Elon Musk called on the Ukrainian authorities to explain why an American citizen is in custody in Ukraine, while the United States sent more than $100 billion in aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Is there more to this story than just criticism of Zelensky?” — Mr. Musk wrote on social network X.
The press service of the SSU informed the Strana.ua publication that Gonzalo Lira violated Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the justification or denial of Russian actions. According to the security service, in his videos he recognized “Russia’s aggression as legitimate,” “and also argued that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are shelling their own territory, and that a neo-Nazi regime reigns in Ukraine.”
Gonzalo Lira was arrested in May. Later, he was granted bail and the court released him under house arrest. In July, according to the SSU, the blogger “tried to escape across the border on his own motorcycle.” In connection with this, he was arrested again and is in a Kharkov pre-trial detention center. Court hearings in this case will begin on December 12.
Gonzalo Lira has lived in Kharkov for the last few years. He said that after his arrest he tried to escape from Ukraine to Hungary to ask for political asylum. According to The European Conservative , Mr. Lira spoke about torture in a Ukrainian pre-trial detention center and extortion of $70 thousand from him. He does not admit guilt.

EXPOSED: US mercenaries from Ukraine spotted operating in Gaza on behalf of Israel
The American mercenary firm, Forward Observations Group (FOG), previously known for its presence in Ukraine, has claimed to have active members engaged in combat inside Gaza on behalf of Israel, Sputnik has learned.
FOG's official social media accounts have posted numerous photos and videos from Israel, including the southern territories near the Gaza border and the Gaza Strip itself. Some of the images show equipment decked out with both US and Ukrainian flags.
Since March 2022, FOG members have made multiple visits to Ukraine. The company openly acknowledges its involvement in fighting alongside the Kiev regime, namely, in the battle for Severodonetsk.
Forward Observations Group was officially registered as a private company in the state of Nevada on October 15, 2020. It was founded by Derrick Bales, a former US soldier who has served in Afghanistan.

▪️ Since evening, Geranium UAVs carried out strikes in #Odessa and #Nikolayev regions, explosions were heard in #Uman, #Cherkassy region, and drones were recorded over #Kirovograd region. In the morning, missile strikes were launched against facilities in #Kharkov region and in #Ochakov ( #Nikolayev region).
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, the situation has not changed; there is fighting in #Krynki, and both sides are also hitting each other's facilities in the rear. There are reports that the enemy may be preparing for landings in new areas, which may well be another radio game.
▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front four enemy attacks were repelled in the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye section. At #Rabotino our troops, having repelled the enemy's advance, after artillery preparation (https://t.me/DnevnikDesantnika/5392) counterattacked and occupied some positions of the AFU. Aviation with FAB-500s is being used to destroy the enemy's manpower and equipment in places of accumulation.

On the southern edge of the front our troops are conducting massive artillery shelling on the settlement of #Pervomayskoye, pressure is building up on #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. In case of success, the RF Armed Forces will further tighten the neck of the "Avdeyevka sack".
▪️ In the area of #Artyomovsk (#Bakhmut), the RF Armed Forces continue to advance in the direction of #Bogdanovka, as well as in the area of the recently taken #Khromovo. The advance is sensitive for the AFU, the enemy writes that "the situation continues to deteriorate", it can be argued that the AFU begins ehe defensive operation Chasov Yar.
