According to Tony Radakin, head of the British Armed Forces, it may be necessary to "adjust" expectations of the results of the Ukrainian offensive in the short term.
The admiral recalled the problems of the Ukrainian troops: the lack of military training of the mobilised men and the heterogeneity of weapons (both Soviet and Western). Radakin defined the current situation in Ukraine as "a visceral war".

โช๏ธ During the night, the RF Armed Forces carried out strikes by Geran UAVs against targets in the #Vinnitsa, #Nikolayev, #Dnepropetrovsk and #Cherkassy regions. In the #Odessa region, the target was the enemy's port infrastructure on the border with #Romania: UAVs were recorded near the cities of #Reni and #Izmail.
โช๏ธ In the #Bryansk region, an enemy SRG was dislodged from the territory of the region.
โช๏ธ On the #Zaporozhye front it is reported that the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" has been withdrawn for additional manning from the #Rabotino area due to losses. In general, the grouping of enemy troops at the front is estimated at 60-70 thousand people, however, the intensity of enemy attacks has slightly decreased. Nevertheless, the enemy is launching artillery and rocket attacks along the entire front line, hitting the rear areas with long-range #NATO munitions.

๐ผ Archangel of Special Forces has posted a detailed ๐ description of his vision of a possible operation of Ukrainian formations in #Crimea. We talked about the possibility in ๐ principle a few days ago, and now it's time to discuss how it will all be in practice.
๐น The plan can be divided into several stages:
โช๏ธ First stage: pinpoint strikes with cruise missiles on ammunition and equipment depots in #Crimea and #Kherson region. Objective: disruption of logistics and logistics services.
โช๏ธ Second stage: strikes on control and communication points. Objective: disruption of troop planning and coordination.
โช๏ธ Third stage: strikes on ships, ports and the BSF headquarters. Objective: depriving the BSF of any possibilities for manoeuvres at sea.
โ๏ธAnd it is the third stage that we are now witnessing. Both missiles and uncrewed boats are being used. Along with this, sabotage groups are probing weak points in the defence of the peninsula. If the tasks are at least partially fulfilled, the number of assault groups' sorties to #Crimea will increase. By this point, the transfer of the Marine Corps to the #Dnieper River to support the ground offensive from #Kherson and #Ochakov should already be completed.
๐ In parallel, the enemy is solving the task of destroying Russian Air Defence, Electronic Warfare and Aerospace Forces aircraft. But for the overall plan to squeeze the BSF will be more than enough. This will allow to control shipping, driving ships into bays and threaten Russia's trade by sea, as well as the gas pipeline and the Crimean Bridge. And one successful strike on the crucial Kerch Strait crossing would offset all the costs and losses.
โช๏ธ In addition to the reputational disaster, #Russia could face the serious prospect of isolation that the Anglo-Saxons dream of. And this is exactly what looms before #Russia against the backdrop of events in #Transcaucasia. The tactical effect of the operation in #Crimea is likely to be minimal, but the geopolitical effect could be huge.

Yesterday, the press service of the North Atlantic Alliance announced the transfer of two E-3A long-range radar detection aircraft to the Siauliai air base. One of the Sentris has already flown from the Turkish base in Konya and the second is likely to arrive soon.
The news was accompanied by standard language about the threat from Russia and the need to increase NATO capabilities on the Baltic flank. 150 service personnel will also be sent to Siauliai.
๐ปIn fact, the deployment of two E-3As in Lithuania will significantly expand the detection radius of Russian aviation and air defense in the northwestern part of the Russian Federation, as well as in Belarus.
