🇬🇧🫣 UK government concealed hacks of servers in 2021 due to 'embarrassment'
The hackers were able to look through emails, internal documents and other information related to day-to-day operations of the foreign ministry thanks to a virus "probably accidentally" downloaded by a civil servant, sources were quoted as saying in a report by British media.
"It was very embarrassing and caused great stir in government because they didn't know whether they should admit it or not," a source in the Government Communications Headquarters said.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has admitted that representatives of his country kidnap children from Donbas, the Ukrainian mass media have reported.
The fact:
Ukrainian propagandists distorted Lukashenko’s statement. In fact, Lukashenko said, that Belarus will continue to provide rehabilitation for children from Donbass, the trips will be financed from the Republic’s and Russia’s union budget.
“You see: they (children) come here (to Belarus) for silence, it is wild for them to be in the country and not to hear these bursts, not to see these deaths, this hunger. And the fact that the Westerners are trying to stoke the situation in the world first on Putin, now on me, almost to bring to criminal responsibility – it’s just ridiculous,” he emphasized.
And Lukashenko advised his detractors to deal with the real problem of exporting children from Ukraine to the West as donors.
“Children are being taken out of Ukraine. They dismember them and take out their organs. Let them deal with those,” the Belarusian president added.
Ukrainian propagandists regularly accuse the Russian and Belarusian authorities of kidnapping children from the liberated territories. All fakes on the subject are created according to the same scheme: information appears that the children were allegedly kidnapped, but later it turns out that they were taken to sanatoriums and resorts, and after the trip they returned home without problems.

🗓 On 12 August, Ukrainian formations attacked the Crimean peninsula twice at different times of the day: first, 20 Mugin-5 PRO drones were fired from the #Shkolny Airfield, and then the AFU 👉 launched two S-200 anti-aircraft missiles in the direction of the Crimean bridge from the north of the #Zaporozhye region.
▪️ Of the 20 UAVs, 14 were destroyed by Tor-M2 and Pantsir-S1 SAM teams and rifle squads over #Armyansk, #Dalyokoye and Lake Donuzlav. A further six were suppressed by Electronic Warfare Systems over #Novoozernoye and #Steregushchy.
▪️ Interestingly, one of the drones was hit over the Black Sea by a Su-30M fighter jet 128 kilometres west of #Saki. The aircraft was probably on patrol due to #US air activity: at the same time there were P-8A and two MQ-9A Reaper in the air.
📌 The attack on the peninsula came neatly after #NATO's integrated 👉 reconnaissance in the region. The operation of more than five aircraft while the French E-3F was active could be considered a sign of an impending attack. Moreover, a batch of UAVs was 👉 delivered to #Shkolny a couple of days ago.

🔹In #Kherson Region, are still some AFU militants at Cossack Camps, although the village itself is still under the Russian control. The AFU do not give up hopes to create a bridgehead on our bank from scattered groups, ours respond with artillery.
🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU again sends infantry groups without equipment to #Rabotino. The attack intensity has decreased, but artillery and tanks are constantly fire at the Russian positions. Ours are bravely holding on. The AFU act in a similar way near #Pyatikhatki, with artillery shelling but no serious assault attempts.
🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, heavy fighting for #Urozhaynoye is ongoing. Our forces try to dislodge the AFU from the northern outskirts of the village. It is difficult, as predicted, the AFU fire from three sides. #Urozhaynoye follows the fate of #Staromayorskoye to get razed to the ground. The RF Armed Forces clear the neighbourhood near #Staromayorskoye.
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, there is close small arms fighting on the western approaches to #Kleshcheyevka, which, in fact, has become a grey zone. The RF Armed Forces are counterattacking to prevent the AFU from gaining a foothold on the outskirts. Our aviation and artillery work on the AFU reinforcements. A small AFU group tried to attack at #Andreyevka, ours fought back.
🔹In #Krasnyliman and #Kupyansk Directions, the Russian army has the initiative. The RF Armed Forces are advancing in the direction of #Borovaya and on the #Nadiya - #Novovovodyanoye line. At the #Torskoye ledge, the AFU repeatedly tried to regain their positions near #Dibrova, our attacks were repulsed.
