🔹 In the #Svatovo section, assault squads of the 21st Motorised Rifle Brigade of the RF Armed Forces, supported by artillery and army aviation, stormed the heights near Balka Zhuravka and then began to gain a foothold there.

▪️ The enemy attempted to recapture an important position by launching a massive shelling of the strongholds from Grad MLRSs and Krab self-propelled howitzers, and then launched a counterattack with 3 tanks and 6 IFVs.
➖ The artillery division of the 21st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade worked on the AFU, firing more than 400 large-calibre shells. Ukrainian formations failed to approach the height, losing 2 tanks and 3 IFVs in the process.

🗓Today, Russian servicemen have launched a counterattack after several days of active defence near #Kleshchiyevka. According to VerumReactor @verumreactor, the RF Armed Forces took an enemy squad by surprise and captured at least seven people south of the village.

▪️ West and northwest of #Kleshchiyevka, units of the Russian army squeezed out formations of the AFU's 3rd Separate Mountain Assault Battalion from the outskirts of the settlement, clearing important tactical heights from the enemy. Strongholds have been taken under the control of the RF Armed Forces.

🔹 On the northern flank of the #Bakhmut direction, the assault squads of the AFU's 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade broke through to the outskirts of #Berkhovka. A massive artillery strike was made on the advancing troops, and after that paratroopers of the 98th Airborne Division of the RF Armed Forces cleared the village.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🛰 How the “Meat Assaults” of the AFU look on Satellite Images⚡️

🪖 After huge losses in equipment in early June, the Ukrainian formations decided to change tactics. Now the assaults are carried out by infantry, while IFVs and wheeled vehicles are used only as "armoured taxis" to deliver troops to the Russian positions.

💥 The task of the assault groups is, after a powerful artillery preparation, to get a grip on forest plantations where Russian strongholds are usually located. If the enemy cannot be destroyed, the RF Armed Forces withdraw to the next prepared line in order to avoid meat grinders and save personnel's lives.

▪️ In case of failure, the AFU withdraw and the next day do the same thing according to the same algorithm. Then they gather forces to the mown-down lines to make new breakthroughs, but this time they are hit by the RF Armed Forces. Satellite images from the #Vremyevka sector section show the density of fire. The forest belts are literally riddled with craters.

❗️On the one hand, this does allow the Ukrainian formations to make some sort of advance in the face of the Russian fighters' steadfastness in defence. But such deadly attacks lead to huge losses of the advancing troops, because of which in the involved brigades of the AFU, the swagger is already beginning to be replaced by dismorality.

📌 By and large, the lives of Ukrainian attackers are now being exchanged for nameless woodland in an attempt to wear down the Russian troops and cause them "shell starvation". In a month of such continuous "meat assaults" the enemy managed to capture only eight villages.

🔹 Fighting continues on the frontline. In the #Starobelsk direction, the RF Armed Forces were able to advance in the area of the Zhuravka Balka and the vicinity of #Torskoye, and also foiled a massive attack near #Dibrova. The situation in Torskoye is very difficult, but the claims of enemy propagandists do not correspond to reality.
