The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) introduces new requirements for stablecoins in the European Union, enforcing stricter rules on transparency, reserves, and risk management. Non-compliant assets will be removed from the market.
January 31, 2025 – Crypto exchanges must delist non-compliant stablecoins.
March 31, 2025 – Users must withdraw or exchange affected stablecoins before this date. Any remaining balances will be automatically converted into compliant assets.

🚫USDT (Tether), PYUSD (PayPal USD)
✅USDC (Circle), EURC (Société Générale)
Major exchanges, including Kraken, Coinbase, Bitpanda, OKX, Crypto.com, Nebeus, and Bit2Me, have already begun removing USDT and other restricted assets.
