The recommended starting configuration is intentionally simple:

The default configuration is the configuration I recommend users test first.

Please do not optimize the parameters immediately. I would rather receive feedback from users running the EA with the default settings so that the results and observations are easier to compare across different brokers and accounts.

Once the default configuration has been tested, users can experiment with other parameters if they understand their effect.

👉 Why XAUUSD M15?

The main configuration of Obsidian Pivot Engine is currently focused on XAUUSD on M15.
BTCUSD and NASDAQ are supported as additional markets, but they should be considered secondary configurations during the initial testing phase.

The EA can analyze multiple timeframes internally, while the recommended chart configuration for the initial test is XAUUSD M15.

Obsidian Pivot Engine analyzes recent price structure across multiple timeframes and uses pending orders when the conditions defined by the strategy indicate a potential breakout.
The exact logic used to identify levels, filter signals and manage entries is part of the internal design of the EA and is therefore not fully disclosed publicly.

Each supported symbol has independent parameters for:
