This ea VORP TREND v8 is primarily optimized for trading gold (XAUUSD) and utilizes a hybrid trading logic.

👉 How it works: The robot combines two strategies: trend following and momentum catching (volatility breakouts).

✅ Trend Mode: The robot monitors the crossover of two Exponential Moving Averages (by default, a fast EMA 20 and a slow EMA 50 on the M15 timeframe). If a crossover occurs and the price moves confidently in the trend direction (by a specified number of pips), the bot immediately opens a market order in the direction of the movement.
✅ Straddle Mode: If there is no clear trend and the market is flat, the bot sets up a "straddle" (a price channel) consisting of two pending orders: a Buy Stop above the current price and a Sell Stop below it. The distance to these orders is not fixed; it dynamically adjusts to the market based on the ATR (Average True Range) indicator. If there's a sharp price spike (e.g., during a news release), one of the orders is triggered, and the other is automatically deleted.

What it draws on the chart: Nothing. The robot operates entirely "under the hood." There are no graphical buffers in its code to draw lines or objects on the chart. It reads indicator data in the background. If you want to visually see what the bot is relying on, you need to manually add the following to your M15 chart:
Moving Average indicator (Exponential, periods 20 and 50).
ATR indicator (period 14).

💎 Key Features:

✅ Dynamic Risk Management: The bot doesn't trade with a fixed lot size. It calculates the trade volume itself so that if a stop-loss is triggered, you lose a strictly predefined percentage of your deposit (1% by default).
✅ Volatility Adaptation: Thanks to its integration with the ATR indicator, the bot won't place overly tight stop-losses during heavy market storms, and conversely, it will narrow the channel when the market is calm.
✅ Smart Position Management (Trailing and Break-even): As soon as a trade goes into profit by a certain number of pips, the bot moves the stop-loss to break-even, protecting you from a reversal. Then, the trailing stop kicks in, "pulling" the stop-loss up as the profit grows.
✅ Pyramiding (Trend Averaging): If the price moves in the desired direction, the robot can open additional trades (scale-in) along the way, slightly increasing the lot size (by a 1.2 multiplier) to squeeze the maximum profit out of a strong trend.
✅ Spread Filter: The robot will restrict trading if the broker's spread widens beyond the allowed value (InpMaxSpreadPips = 40), protecting you from entering trades at unfavorable prices.
