The Virgin Wick POI Indicator is built on the CCT Strategy (Counter-Trend / Correction Trend). It focuses on "Smart Money" concepts, specifically seeking out liquidity trapped in long, untested candle shadows.

The Virgin Wick POI Indicator, a trading tool designed for detecting Points of Interest (POI) based on virgin wicks in price action. It includes settings for timeframes, wick size, trade management, trend filters, and visual options, as well as structures for tracking trades and POIs. The indicator scans historical data for virgin wicks, processes potential trades, and provides statistical feedback on trade outcomes.

✅ 1. The HTF Scan (H1 Timeframe)
The algorithm starts on the High Timeframe (default is 1H). It looks for:

Virgin Wicks: A candle shadow that is longer than your MinWickSize.

✅

The "Virgin" Status: The wick is considered "virgin" if the price has not touched that specific High/Low level for a set number of bars (WickLookback).

✅

POI (Point of Interest): The indicator marks these wicks as boxes. They act as "magnets" because large players often leave orders or liquidity around these extremes.

✅ 2. The Trend Filter
If UseTrendFilter is enabled, the indicator checks the Moving Average.
✅ Bullish setups are only valid if the price is above the MA.
✅ Bearish setups are only valid if the price is below the MA.

✅ 3. Break & Reclaim (The Fakeout)
This is the "trap" detection. The indicator waits for two things on the H1:
✅ The Break: Price pushes past the Virgin Wick (breaking the POI).
✅ The Reclaim: Price fails to stay outside and closes back inside the POI level. This confirms a "Liquidity Grab" or a fakeout.

✅ 4. LTF Confirmation (M1 Timeframe)
Once the H1 reclaim happens, the indicator zooms into the 1-minute chart:
✅Entry Trigger: It looks for a candle to close above/below the high/low of the "Reclaim" candle.
✅FVG (Optional): If RequireFVG is true, it only fires a signal if a Fair Value Gap is created during the move, confirming strong momentum.

How to Trade the Strategy

Trading with this tool is straightforward, but it requires discipline regarding the signals.

1. Entering a Trade

BUY (Green Arrow): Appears when a bullish setup is confirmed on the M1 after an H1 liquidity grab.

SELL (Red Arrow): Appears when a bearish setup is confirmed on the M1 after an H1 liquidity grab.

❌ 2. Setting Stop Loss (SL)
The indicator automatically identifies the Swing High or Swing Low near the entry.

Placement: The SL is placed at the recent structural extreme (marked by a Red Dot). This protects you in case the "fakeout" turns into a real trend reversal.

🏹 3. Setting Take Profit (TP): The TP is purely mathematical based on your Risk:Reward (RR) settings.Default: Usually $1:2$ or $1:3$.Calculation: If your risk is $10$ pips and RR is $3$, your TP will be $30$ pips from entry (marked by a Green Dot).

The dashboard is your "Command Center" for backtesting and optimization:

Win Rate: This is your most important metric. Because you are using a high RR ($1:3$), even a $35-40\%$ win rate makes the strategy highly profitable.
Visual Legend: * Blue/Red Boxes: Current Zones of Interest.
✓ WIN: The trade hit the Take Profit.
✗ LOSS: The trade hit the Stop Loss.
