Students' International Committee of Medical School (SICoMS)

This volunteering group is aimed to do international activities:

e.g.,
Scientific Exchange
International Research Collaborations
International Scientific Meetings
Foreign Language Teaching

🕰 In this committee, we try to remove the geographical borders by taking part in international activities; so, we could help science advance one step further at a time.

🔬 Students are not forced to choose an activity from the list above; rather they can create their own group and define the activities they are going to be working on.

👨🏻‍🏫 Every student can apply for registration.

Students’ International Committee of Medical School (SICoMS) has just been established to address the need for greater international education opportunities for the healthcare professionals of tomorrow.

These opportunities include:
clinical electives,
research electives,
observerships,
and workshops
that are available to students of insitutions that join the SICoMS.

The objective is not necessarily to enrich your resume, but rather to acquire a foreign language, experience a foreign culture, have a short-term study at a university, etc.

☑️ERASMUS or the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students is a programme established by the European Union since 1987.

🔺It allows for students to study at universities in the EU member states for set periods of time.

🔺Erasmus+ is open to many individuals and organisations, although eligibility varies from one action to another and from one country to another.

🔶Eligible countries are divided into two groups, Programme countries and Partners countries. Partner countries, like Iran, can only take part in some, and are subject to specific conditions.

🔶Erasmus+ brings such opportunities to all - students, staff, trainees, teachers, volunteers and more. It's not just about Europe or Europeans either - with Erasmus+, people from all over the world can access opportunities.
