Today I continued improving DevConnect (the project I'm building as I learn Next.js) by adding two important security features. I integrated email verification and password reset using Better Auth with Resend, which gave me a better understanding of how authentication…
Update: pausing DevConnect

Started DevConnect purely to go deep on Next.js — App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, real auth architecture, optimistic UI, rate limiting, the whole modern stack. That goal is done. I can now explain why a page renders statically vs. dynamically, why Server Actions aren't a security boundary by themselves, why optimistic UI needs rollback logic — not just copy-paste patterns.

The project itself, though, is a Twitter-for-developers clone. I already shipped TruthWall (truthwall-seven.vercel.app) with a similar social-app shape, so grinding through the rest of DevConnect's feature list (likes, follows, notifications) would mostly be repeating patterns I've already proven, not learning anything new.

So — new project incoming: something that actually solves a real problem, more complex than a social clone, with AI integration built in from day one. Same Next.js 16 stack, but now applied to something worth building, not just something worth learning on.

More soon 🚀

We built the Jarvis for any web app you create.

And you can do it all with just one prompt. 🤩

Introducing Voxide.

Go to Voxide , create your assistant, copy your assistant specific integration prompt, and paste that to Claude, Cursor, or whatever tool you prefer for your project.

And you’re done. 🥳 Your app can now not just speak and listen, but can:

- Navigate
- Fill out forms
- Scroll
- Read any page
- Search
- Click
- Type

You name it; anything you can imagine, Voxide can do. All it needs is your user’s command.

Let your users Be the iron man , and let your app listen back.

Just shipped: OSS Funding Matcher

If you maintain an open source project, there's a good chance you're doing critical work for free while real funding programs exist that you've never heard of — or didn't think you qualified for.

What it does:
🔗 Connects your GitHub repo
📊 Scores it using OpenSSF's criticality methodology
🎯 Matches you against 14 verified, currently-active funding programs (GitHub Secure Open Source Fund, Sovereign Tech Fund, NumFOCUS, and more — every single link personally checked, no dead ends)
✍️ Drafts a ready-to-send funding pitch with AI

Built with Next.js, Supabase, Auth.js, and Gemini/Groq for the AI layer.

Try it → [https://oss-funding-matcher.vercel.app]
Repo - [https://github.com/shuayb344/oss-funding-matcher.git]

Feedback welcome — especially if you know a funding program that should be on the list. There's a "suggest a funder" button built right in.
