Addressing the inner feelings. As preparation and study can take you only so far
*
Awake? Asleep?
Feeling too shallow? Feeling too deep?
Wondering how life moves so fast?
Calendar dates changing so fast, so close yet so far.
Does life seem too overwhelming?
You want to enjoy it but you just can't.
Does it bother you that so many things which meant so much at one point have become so immaterial now?
All those hopes and dreams are changed and how!
*
For what it's worth, of all this, life's purpose was never to be meaningful.
Somewhat random of all creations.
It has been in our interest to derive sense of the senselessness.
Chaos is a ladder! They say.
Did anyone ever guarantee you certainty in anyway? Never.
Life was always going to be this tough, right?
Not making sense all the times.
Fear that you may lose yourself in the process?
No. You won't. You have never. You never will.
You will pivot. Readjust. Resettle.
Because that's what you do.
Not just going through life. But growing through life.

Now that the BioData submissions and psychometric tests are 'almost' done, coming to another crucial pillar of the interview- the preparation itself.
A ready reckoner for the ones struggling to make a plan.
Recommended to start by devoting 2-3 hours a day, take it to 7-8 hours in due course. (Depending on applicability).

As part of the interview course, inviting Mr. Prithviraj Harish (RBI Grade B-2021) to take a session on interview preparation.
He has been a part of the channel for a long time now.
Quite qualified and knowledgeable.

Date and time of the session to be conveyed to the enrolled candidates once the interview dates are out.
Peace. ✨

It's been almost one month since the interview course was launched.
The response has been huge. Quite expected though. Still, it feels good to enjoy continued trust.
As the interview dates are about to be launched in the coming days- putting a stop on further enrollments to focus on the existing batch.
Hoping to update with the news of 100+ selections. Again.
No photos. No roll numbers. No taking credit. ✨

P.S. Those who are waiting for any initiative for 2024 (Here), the details will be shared in due course.

Addressing the Hindi English debate in the interview:
As evident from the above statistic, the chunk of candidates choosing English as the medium of interview is more than 95% as compared to the ones choosing Hindi (less than 5%).
So, one might wonder if choosing Hindi as the medium of interview would put him/her at a disadvantage.
But, judgement does not happen on the basis of language.
The board is able to see through your level of study and confidence irrespective of the medium of interview. So, there is no inherent advantage or disadvantage as such.
However, if there is someone whose spoken English skills are extremely good, then it may create an "indirect" positive impression. But, there are no specific marks allotted to it as such.
The keywords, terms, numbers, name of institutions and organisations etc will sound the same be it English or Hindi.
So ultimately, the amount of confidence, study level, profile, background of the candidates overall will decide the final outcome of the interview.

PS: As the RBI interviews commence from tomorrow onwards, wishing the interview guys all the very best.
After a certain amount of preparation and clarity, interview performance is not a function of time.
Rather a function of self awareness and clarity of thought. Amalgamated with, of course, some decent amount of preparation.
