Yesterday, I was trying to convince Claude to create a carousel on Codex — in my style.

It’s really fun working in bed… until you shutdown before your laptop.

❶ First attempt
It was gooood but it was giving AI B2B SAAS Startup aesthetic.

❷ Second attempt
I gave it access to my Canva and so it can create a design. It was not bad, it was disgusting. I need chlorine for my eyes now.

Since my style is so unique (🙄), I gave Claude access to an existing design to see how good it will re-edit it.

The text? Basic. The vibe? Bleh. The personality? Missing :/

But I understand now, how I can get the best result.

Anyway, catch me tonight submitting attempt #4 like it’s a toxic relationship I refuse to leave.

Natnael Getenew, a self-taught developer from Addis Ababa, has been named one of the winners of the AWS AIdeas global competition, selected from more than 10,000 submissions across 115 countries.

His platform, Ivy, is a compressed AI model (under 260MB) that runs on Android devices without an internet connection. It proactively calls students and delivers personalized lessons, quizzes, and flashcards through 21 AI-powered tools.

When connected, Ivy integrates with AWS cloud services; offline, it operates entirely on-device.

Chosen by an AWS expert panel for its strong technical execution and creative problem-solving, Natnael’s project earned him a $10,000 cash prize along with $1,000 in AWS credits.
