I truly miss Saudi Mabrat Hayel. They work 24/7 and maximum power outage is 2hrs, and they send an apology sms. They also send warning messages if the lights will go off at specific times.

And I’m always fighting the urge to tell them that the they’re ones who will be replaced because they don’t even know how to use ChatGPT.

Why don’t I do that?
Because I’m sweet and nice (yes, I said that), I don’t want to be the one who gives someone quarter-life mid-life entire-life crisis.

There are lot of interesting things to talk about in software, but they’re not nerd enough to understand.
