I had a teacher tell me to my face that she thought I was stupid JUST because I was African until she saw my grades 🤨.

I have a lot of wilder stories. But let’s jump to the good part.

Then Luwam came and was the most on brand Ethiopian I have ever seen with her work ethic.

Straight A*, head girl of the school, good at sports, public speaking, writing and she still had the time to be a good friend.

What makes everything I listed outstandingly impressive that she did all that while working a full-time tutoring job to pay for hers and her sister’s school fees to help her single mom.

She did this in 7th grade!!

As girlie never loves to play small, she took on the project “Beauty with Purpose” through Miss World Ethiopia.

She has been working on it since last year, I knew about all the good tea 😌💅
