Morning ladies and gents. One subject that occurred to me is getting source material.
I use NewPipe. Just search it in Google and it should pop up. It's a YouTube browser app that let's you download videos and sounds. No need to copy and paste to a website.

If you download the sound without the video, you'll need to convert it to a wav file from mp4 for capcut to use.

IG Downloader is another app so you can download videos off Instagram.

For Twitter, I think you have to copy the link and find a website that downloads Twitter vids.

Tutorial for making text have more effects than just the animation presets:
First make a video with the text on it, do the effects you want on purely the image a and not the text. Then save.
Open the saved video, the text is now part of the video layer and will be affected by effects.
