50 countries are considering adding nuclear..

31 countries are signed up to triple it by 2050.

The world’s biggest tech companies (Microsoft, Amazon, Google) are investing in it.

The rest of the world is leaving anti nuclear activists like you behind

Perhaps because it’s illegal right now…

UK Labour Energy Minister

:
“Nuclear power is an essential part of the low carbon opportunity” 24/4/25

AUS Labor Energy Minister Chris Bowen:
“Risky nuclear scam” 19/6/24
This is disinformation.

$600bn is a dodgy calculation from the ‘Smart’ Energy Council based on extrapolating the cost of the most expensive nuclear plant ever and doubling it.

Also, nuclear is emissions free. Cooling towers release water vapour, not smoke.

Why wasn’t the PM called out for this?

The $600bn nuclear figure comes from extrapolating the cost of the most expensive nuclear plant ever and doubling it.

Even the CSIRO says it is at least 5x cheaper.

A 1GW reactor has a diameter of roughly 4m.

To generate the same electricity you’d need roughly 3 million solar panels or 430 wind turbines.

It’s fantastic to see the anti nuclear activists teaching the kids a lesson in energy density.

Wonder who’s funding the anti nuclear disinformation campaign?

Here’s a quick sample:
-ACF
-Climate Council
-Doctors for the Environment
-Extinction Rebellion
-Friends of the Earth
-Getup
-Greenpeace
-Smart Energy Council
-Solar Citizens
-United Workers Union
-Uniting Church Australia
-WWF
-Rewiring Australia

Many of these groups claim to be experts on energy and nuclear.

The evidence speaks otherwise.

Here’s the comment that got me blocked:
Why did Senator Watt need to block me?

I presented the facts:
🇨🇳 China is building 10 reactors for $27 billion
🇦🇺 Meanwhile, he’s one of many claiming 11 reactors in Australia will cost $600bn AUD

He knows that the ‘Smart’ Energy Council $600 billion figure is a lie.
This is now getting embarrassing.

The $600bn figure is a lie.

It’s based on extrapolating the cost of the most expensive nuclear power plant ever and doubling it.

It assumes nuclear is at least 5x more expensive than even the CSIRO’s prediction.
Nuclear for Australia has over 110,000 supporters.

We’re not an ‘astroturf campaign’. You’re comparing us to known lobby groups funded by industry.

We advocate for nuclear power: a source of clean energy.

The Prime Minister has been called out for lying about the $600bn nuclear figure.

It’s based on extrapolating the cost of the most expensive nuclear plant ever and doubling it. Even the CSIRO assumes nuclear is 5x cheaper.

This fear campaign must stop.
All the used nuclear fuel ever could fit inside the MCG.

Yet we’re told nuclear power in Australia would be an issue.

Anyone on face value would oppose a $600bn nuclear plan to power 4% of Australia’s grid.

The issue: It never existed and was never challenged by the mainstream.

Trickery & deception might work politically but it won’t solve the energy dilemma.

The fight for nuclear continues.
Australia has safely operated research reactors for decades.

We’ve developed radioactive waste solutions.

We have a world class nuclear regulator.

And we’re training a nuclear skilled workforce for AUKUS.

Yet, we turn our back on nuclear power.

It’s time to lift the ban.
Nuclear isn’t politically toxic.

Despite their divided politics, nuclear has bipartisan support in the United States🇺🇸 & United Kingdom 🇬🇧.

All this campaign proved is that nuclear disinformation campaigns can run unchecked in Australia.
If their arguments against nuclear were so strong they wouldn’t have to make threats.

No one would be fighting for it if their claims that nuclear would cost $600bn and be 4% of the grid were true.

The only thing the anti nuclear campaign knows how to do is create fear.
