I’ve been playing a lot of Minecraft, and Valheim.
Thermals are pretty rad. Can’t complain for a first time pc build.

Best small Antennas on Amazon?
Have tried 2 different sets and they’ve both been absolutely terrible. I’m about 2 rooms away from my router. Using my motherboard antenna is perfectly fine but I want something small and out of sight. Any recommendations? Don’t mind spending extra for really good ones.

DAN A4 Build + 3950X
So finally most of my pain is over!

I put together this build as my personal rig for traveling, I really want to fit an EVGA 3070 which should fit, but will be awaiting the normal GPU pricing to return.
​
Managed to somehow fit 5 case fans in this, 2 of which are 120mm.
​
I strongly suggest printing the DAN case spacer from thingiverse, on the CPU side, allows about an extra 15mm, I think this will also be needed for the GPU side for most 30xx cards.

Black Ridge Compatibility w/ 120mm Fan Underneath
So I have an MSI B550i motherboard, and I am going to be moving from an SG13 to a Velka 7. I recently made the purchase of VLP RAM so I can put a 120mm fan under the heatsink because I want maximum airflow obviously, but will it work on my board? Has anyone tried it out? I definitely would have to take off the m.2 heatsink in the front, which is no problem, but I'm not sure if I would have to make any other changes.
Also, what boards do people know work with this configuration? In the case that I need to change motherboards, it would be good for me (and others) to know what does work.
On a different note, I would not mind changing this motherboard as I have had so many times where bluetooth capability just goes away, sometimes for a minute, other times for a day, which is obviously very annoying as I rely on bluetooth for my audio often.

Help Buying Aklla a4v2 / Ghost S1 in UK
Hi could do with a little help finding a case like the Ghost S1 or Aklla a4v2 in the UK
I'm using a TU150 at the mo but would like to downsize a little more, so any other case ideas would be awesome just needs to fit an SFX PSU and a TUF 3080 ( WHEN i can get my hands on one)

Help regarding first time Build
I have been thinking to build an ITX build using CM NR200n case with 5950x and 3070 with MSI B550i Gaming edge WiFi mobo, I have been having hard time deciding about cooling, should I go with liquid cooling or air cooling, and which one?
Is 5950x + 3070 in a NR200N good choice for long term in terms of thermals.
My major purpose is of content creation ( 3d rendering + davinci Resolve) .

Flex ATX PSU for low powered 4bay NAS?
I'm currently getting the parts together to build a small 4 bay NAS that will go under my TV and work as a Plex media server. This means that the system needs to be as quiet as possible.
I'm looking at a 10liter case atm which supports flexatx PSUs. I've done a fair bit of research and it seems that every flex PSU out there is fairly loud. The most popular models (enhance, fsp and Silverstone) still seem to be fairly loud but most comments are related to using them along with a GPU in higher wattage consumption setups.
So my question is the following. Which flex ATX PSU would perform with minimal noise under very low wattage consumption (just a low end CPU and 4 HDDs)?
Wattage requirements for my setup will be minimal but from what I understand, something to be aware of is also the fan curve of these PSUs as it seems that sometimes fans operate regardless of wattage consumption.
I've had a thought of switching the fan of the PSU but if rather not go through the trouble of doing that.

Currently planning my first build. Mostly used for coding / calculating huge files.
I see a lot of examples where the GPU plays a big part as well but in my case it's not that important.
Currently available for me are:
- Dan A4
- Ncase M1
I might upgrade the GPU at some point but realistically I won't. Could I get away with the Dan with decent CPU temps or should I go for the Ncase? I'm also open for other cases available in Europe. (China cases are fine as well) :)

(Hope this still counts as sff haha) Hey all, I am happy to share this build now that it is completes, as it was a lot of time planning I wasn’t quite sure it would work. A few years ago I needed to make a PC for work with a fast cpu. I was newb and made a basic Fractal tower and in doing so I realized there was so much unused space, especially when I removed the HD holders. The build also kicked off an obsession with keyboards, but that is a different post for a different sub… I always prefer things that are small/compact/organized and all that wasted space bugged me. A few years later, as I started to get more into the idea of PC gaming, a friend showed me r/sff and I fell in love. I wanted to make a really small PC that I could actually travel with and game on. That came in the form of the Dan A4. I love this case and it is perfect for having a powerful portable rig, but for intense games it could get a little loud, only made worse by the fact I had it sitting right on the desk next to me.
After binging so many Optimum Tech videos, I decided I wanted to watercool my work computer, and use what I learned to make a totally top end watercooled gaming rig. Ali convinced me I needed 4k silent ultra gaming in my life, desperately. Covid struck and it only made me want it more, since I was spending so much more time gaming and on discord. The quarantine gave me a lot of time to plan and look at builds. I saw u/SimplyFabio ans his dual rad T1 build ( Simply Fabio's build ) and thought it would be challenging, but possible. So I upgraded my work computer into the T1 with an aquanaut. I quickly realized it was just too small to cool the components I wanted to use for the gaming rig, even with dual rad. I would need a larger case and debated between the M1 and the NR 200, choosing the latter because it had room for larger top fans.
I put my work rig in a black NR200 and used it as a proof of concept for how things would fit in the gaming rig. Once it was done and worked well, I decided to go all in. I wanted to go nuts with this, since now I spend almost my entire day on my computer between work and discord with friends.
GOALS:
Total Silent 4k gaming
No gpu riser
No slim fans
dedicated cpu block (no pump-block combo)
Wanted easy, no-drain maintenance and ability to entirely take apart the computer without draining the loop.
Every part can be taken out, side rad, bottom rad, gpu, and the cpu block can be removed to access cpu. You do not have to drail the loop to remove any of these parts.
Wanted to incorporate an idea I had of offset rotary fittings to make using the qdcs really easy to use.
Truly a no compromise build.
Initially I was going to do EK gpu and cpu blocks, but in the process of acquiring the parts something horrible happened that I will forever regret. I discovered Optimus watercooling. I am a sucker for brands that are made in the usa, but when a brand is not only domestic but also pushing the limit in terms of engineering and uncompromising quality, it makes me fangirl. I love to see that spirit still alive in the USA. I was lucky they were making a gpu block for the gpu i wanted in my build: the EVGA 3090 ftw. That was just insane luck since i picked it up before learning about them as a company. Once I finally got my hands on their stuff, I was beyond impressed. The acrylic they use on the gpu block is so thick that it inspired the name aquarium, as it reminded me of the aquarium when i was a kid and how the thick glass changed objects as you looked through it. I sold the EK stuff as soon as I got all the Optimus stuff and the build was set.. Here is

Wanted to incorporate an idea I had of offset rotary fittings to make using the qdcs really easy to use.
Truly a no compromise build.
Initially I was going to do EK gpu and cpu blocks, but in the process of acquiring the parts something horrible happened that I will forever regret. I discovered Optimus watercooling. I am a sucker for brands that are made in the usa, but when a brand is not only domestic but also pushing the limit in terms of engineering and uncompromising quality, it makes me fangirl. I love to see that spirit still alive in the USA. I was lucky they were making a gpu block for the gpu i wanted in my build: the EVGA 3090 ftw. That was just insane luck since i picked it up before learning about them as a company. Once I finally got my hands on their stuff, I was beyond impressed. The acrylic they use on the gpu block is so thick that it inspired the name aquarium, as it reminded me of the aquarium when i was a kid and how the thick glass changed objects as you looked through it. I sold the EK stuff as soon as I got all the Optimus stuff and the build was set.. Here is

(Hope this still counts as sff haha) Hey all, I am happy to share this build now that it is completes, as it was a lot of time planning I wasn’t quite sure it would work. A few years ago I needed to make a PC for work with a fast cpu. I was newb and made a basic Fractal tower and in doing so I realized there was so much unused space, especially when I removed the HD holders. The build also kicked off an obsession with keyboards, but that is a different post for a different sub… I always prefer things that are small/compact/organized and all that wasted space bugged me. A few years later, as I started to get more into the idea of PC gaming, a friend showed me [r/sff](https://www.reddit.com/r/sff/) and I fell in love. I wanted to make a really small PC that I could actually travel with and game on. That came in the form of the Dan A4. I love this case and it is perfect for having a powerful portable rig, but for intense games it could get a little loud, only made worse by the fact I had it sitting right on the desk next to me.
After binging so many Optimum Tech videos, I decided I wanted to watercool my work computer, and use what I learned to make a totally top end watercooled gaming rig. Ali convinced me I needed 4k silent ultra gaming in my life, desperately. Covid struck and it only made me want it more, since I was spending so much more time gaming and on discord. The quarantine gave me a lot of time to plan and look at builds. I saw [u/SimplyFabio](https://www.reddit.com/u/SimplyFabio/) ans his dual rad T1 build ( [Simply Fabio's build](https://www.reddit.com/r/FormD/comments/j6s400/formd_t1_with_2x240_radiators_nouvolo_aquanaut/) ) and thought it would be challenging, but possible. So I upgraded my work computer into the T1 with an aquanaut. I quickly realized it was just too small to cool the components I wanted to use for the gaming rig, even with dual rad. I would need a larger case and debated between the M1 and the NR 200, choosing the latter because it had room for larger top fans.
I put my work rig in a black NR200 and used it as a proof of concept for how things would fit in the gaming rig. Once it was done and worked well, I decided to go all in. I wanted to go nuts with this, since now I spend almost my entire day on my computer between work and discord with friends.
GOALS:
* Total Silent 4k gaming
* No gpu riser
* No slim fans
* dedicated cpu block (no pump-block combo)
* Wanted easy, no-drain maintenance and ability to entirely take apart the computer without draining the loop.
* Every part can be taken out, side rad, bottom rad, gpu, and the cpu block can be removed to access cpu. You do not have to drail the loop to remove any of these parts.
