I've seen some of you installed monitoring screen on your PC, so I made a tutorial video on how to do it, specifically on the NR200P (Video link in comments)

Temperatures too low ?

So last month i built a SFFPC with the following parts :

Ryzen 5 3600 with a modified IS-60 Cooler, Noctua L9aL9i backplate and Noctua NF-a12x15 Fan

ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac

Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 FE

16GB RAM HyperX

Cooler Master V650W Gold SFX

SGPC K55 with metallic side panels

2TB Nvme SSD

I've been gaming on this build for quite some time, and performance has been as expected, but i've noticied that on every game, even the most cpu demanding, my CPU temps never goes above 60 degrees (usually around 58)

That's an even lower temperature than on my previous case, so i was wondering if everything was okay. CPU reaching 100% usage and max speed according to HWMonitor. I've even overclocked to 4200 on the Ryzer Master thing and it still doesn't go higher. CPU fan is a little loud if i take off my headset but i can't hear it otherwise. FAN control in motherboard bios is set to standard.

Overall i have no problem but i've never had temperatures that low and the case is so small so i'm really curious. CPU fan is almost touching the side panel so maybe that's why it has so many fresh air but who knows.

I've ran some bench like CPU-Z and nothing seems weird https://valid.x86.fr/tmy64q

Ran some cinebench too and score are fine

5 Lessons from my Ncase 3090 Build

An update on my Ncase M1 3090 deshroud build from December: [Original Post Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/klpwr0/3090_ncase_m1_deshroud/)

I have been tinkering with it pretty solidly since Christmas: Custom pslate cables, a larger EK rad, loop drain points, different fan configs... etc. etc.

Anyway, at some point in January the CPU started overheating. Not just "its a 3090 in a sff box - its going to run hot" overheating. I'm talking 90+ degrees across all CPU cores just after windows boot, (with GPU still in the mid 20's).

2 months later, I've learned a lot and it is completely sorted, Runs nice and cool now. I had to change the whole CPU cooling setup and I'm glad I did.

Now its working again: I have some things I would do differently next time - and save myself a 2 month headache. Here's the list:

1. **Get Custom Cables**. - I thought it was a 'nice to have' item, but its honestly essential in a small case. Forcing cables into gaps, stressing connectors, cable ties sticking into spinning fans, and the whole lot restricting airflow - basically money well spent.
2. **If water-cooling: use 16/10 soft tubing, not 13/10.** \- I started with 13/10 because I cannibalised an alphacool eisbaer lt aio. However I should have noticed it had bend restrictors across all of its tubing. I replaced much of it with standard Alphacool 13/10 tubing and then struggled with kinks trying to fit into the Ncase. I have now ended up with all EK stuff and 16/10 tubing, should have done that from the start.
3. **Don't pair a large radiator with a very small pump.** \- I am 99% sure my overheating problems stemmed from trying to drive an EK PE240 (40mm) rad with a pump that struggled to drive it: the Alphacool Eisbaer LT pump block. The Rad that Aplhacool AIO comes with is a 25mm ultraslim. There's probably some research I could have done but I didn't think about it - I would next time. - you should too.
4. **Go Custom Loop instead of AIO.** \- I originally didn't want to build a custom loop because I'd only ever used air and figured I didn't have the skills and there was a risk of undesirable wetness.. I should have just built a custom loop from the start. It isn't hard. Its actually a lot easier than the route I ended up going. I now have the iceman reservoir paired with an EKDDC pump. It was easy to set up and being able to fit the tubing to the case means there's much less superfluous tubing to force into a tight space.
5. **You can fit a cheeky 5th fan.** \- In the Ncase, a 90mm, under the PSU. It fits sideways behind the GPU and gives you 2-3 degrees better temps. I'm using a de-shrouded 3090 so cant comment on other GPU's. You can probably only do this with custom cables as otherwise your unsightly cable mess goes here.

First Build Advice

Hey everyone.

I'm new here and after lurking for a few years it's time for me to give up MAC and come back to windows. Below is where i'm at right now.

I'm looking to build a workstation/gaming beast of a computer. I work from home and game on GPU intensive games like warzone, witcher 3 , fortnite and alot of Adobe.

What do you think about the part list so far?

Custom power supply questions

I'm working on a small custom case and in the interest of saving space I've been looking for the perfect sized psu. Well I found one, it's an acdc adaptor coupled with a picobox. What are the issues with going with this path?

I'm sure I will have to add an extra fuse between the adaptor and pico, but otherwise it should be good right?

Adaptor
Input: 90-265VAC, 2.5a/115VAC
Output: 12VDC, 10a, 120w

-> 15a fuse ->

Picobox
Input: 12VDC, max 21a
Output: 24pin mb, 8pin cpu, sata power, 4 pin molex

a Zen 3 APU alternative

Noob to graphic cards (not a gamer...yet).

In the absence of the possibility of finding a Zen3 APU, what small reliable graphics card could I add to a Zen3 CPU as an alternative to a Zen3 APU?
