Does this standard apply to everyone, or are leftists who criticize conservative individuals, organizations, and events exempt? The media's treatment of the recent violent attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and the attempt to murder Justice Kavanaugh might offer a clue.

So what's the solution? If the standard only applies to conservatives, then it would seem the solution must be to deplatform all the conservatives who refuse to censor themselves. But is that fair, inclusive, tolerant, or just?

Obviously not. But the standard has been unevenly applied specifically for that purpose. This is how the Left will insulate itself from even well-deserved criticism as they ramp up their effort to corrupt your kids. They will demonize and deplatform anyone who dissents.
