Objecting to Twitter becoming politically neutral is to admit that it isn’t.

The Babylon Bee has gained over 200,000 followers on Twitter since we were locked out a month ago.

Libs of TikTok has doubled its following on Twitter in a span of just a few weeks, exploding from 600,000 followers to 1.2 million.

These are stats for my personal account. The last couple of days far exceed typical growth.

This is the best explanation for the uptick in followers for large conservative accounts. People who'd left Twitter are returning in droves. And people who'd never joined are checking it out. I don't see any reason to think it has to do with the lifting of shadow bans.

People don't seem to realize that Musk doesn't own Twitter yet. Twitter merely accepted his bid. He's not actively running the company and making decisions about which policies should change or which accounts should be restored.

But if we allow free speech someone's feelings might get hurt.

If you hate young people and want them to suffer psychologically for the rest of their lives, you'll teach them to value safety and comfort over truth and character.

Too much safety can be dangerous.

False claims should be refuted, so it makes sense (in theory, at least) to have fact checkers. But in practice they're a bunch of pathetic propagandists, and their bogus refutations aren't just offered as responses to false claims, but as reasons for silencing whoever made them.

We aren't deleting our tweet, and we shouldn't be required to. Twitter can delete it if they don't like it. We refuse to censor ourselves and do the tyrant's work for him.

I love that he mocked us right before he defended us. And I mean that sincerely. Free speech means no one should be exempt from mockery. Bill Maher gets that, which is why he's an outlier on the ultra-sensitive Left.

This attack on Tucker Carlson would have been far more effective if they hadn’t thoroughly diluted the meaning of the word “racist” by applying it without exception to everyone they don’t like.
