What happens if you get banned for "misgendering" someone who later detransitions? Do you get your account back for being right, or is it a permanent penalty like when they ban you for medical misinformation that later turns out to be true?

I've made the mistake of describing trans women as "biologically male" before. It's a stupid mistake. Maleness *is* biological. To say a person is "biologically male" implies that there is such a thing as a non-biological male. There isn't.

As for my use of the phrase "trans women," I don't think that's as problematic. To call a man who identifies as a woman a "trans woman" is to distinguish him from actual women. If he's really a woman, he's not trans. Their own language betrays them on that one. Point it out.
