But morality is not an illusion. Everyone, including atheists, knows that human life has value. We know it as certainly as we know anything.

Therefore, God exists.

The same people who say things like this will also judge you ruthlessly and seek to “hold you accountable” if you don’t strictly adhere to their moral code.

If moral progress is possible, then morality can't just be a social construct. Progress entails that some values are better than others. If morality were just a social construct—and not an objective feature of reality—then we'd have moral differences, but never improvements.

The objective moral standard cannot be improved, but your adherence to it can.

To say that one culture's morality is, in fact, better than another is to compare both of them to an objective standard that transcends them both. If such a standard exists, then God exists and morality is not a social construct but a bedrock fact of reality.

The fact that trans men can get pregnant is proof that they are women pretending to be men. It is not proof that men can get pregnant.
