I have an idea. I think it’s a good one. Everyone should be allowed to say what they think and debate what’s true. We could call it “free speech.”

If I were psychotic, I might want healthy people—showing no signs of illness—to wear masks at all times in my presence to make me feel safe. I could then treat them as I want to be treated, and wear a mask at all times to make them feel safe, too.

But I'm not psychotic.

When my kids get sick, I get sick. This is because I do the sane and loving thing and comfort them. I don't lock them away somewhere to keep myself "safe." This is one of the smaller sacrifices of parenting. If you aren't willing to make it, you shouldn't have kids.
