Since the beginning of the Russian invasion over 281 000 people have fled the war from Ukraine to Poland. Among them were thousands of non-European citizens, including some from Ethiopia. There are special procedures in place to allow passage for persons who would usually need visa.

Polish government takes extra efforts to provide assistance to all in need, once they are in Poland.

To Ethiopian students studying in Poland: The conflict is limited to Ukraine. There are no security issues in Poland.

Poland stands firmly in solidarity with Ukraine, it's people and democratically elected government.
