The British Council wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions the details of which are mentioned below.
Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

The post-holder will support project delivery by supporting the Head of EES / EES Programme Team with project planning and delivery to ensure objectives are met.

The post holder will coordinate and make logistical arrangements for face-to-face and virtual events, including booking catering, preparing meeting packs, printing materials / attendance sheets / monitoring and evaluation questionnaires / promotional materials / certificates, hiring venues, photographers, media coverage and other administrative tasks, and work with partners on the ground to oversee that these are in place.

You will contribute to monitoring and evaluation by supporting the Head of EES / EES Programme Team in the preparation of impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.

You will collect and update data for the Results and Evidence Framework (REF), ensuring that corporate deadlines are met.

 Liaise with partners to ensure that they provide information as required on reach and impact.

You will support Finance and Procurement for the team by costing of project activities and events.

Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately, and in a timely manner, according to corporate standards.

Ensure project procurement is aligned with British Council procurement policy.

Liaise with vendors regarding service delivery, quotes and payments.

Liaise closely with the Head of EES / EES Programme Team / Ethiopia Communications Manager to ensure that information related to EES projects on the British Council Ethiopia website and Facebook page is accurate and up to date, with regularly posted relevant content on social media platforms.

Maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries and clients.

Role specific knowledge and experience:

Strong finance and administration skills

Strong planning and organisation skills.

Salary: ETB 19,049.00

Contract type: 3 years – fixed term contract

Essential Requirements–
The successful candidate will need to possess the following requirements:

University degree in any subject.

Written and spoken English at CEFR B2 level

Written and spoken Amharic at CEFR C2 level

At least 2 years’ work experience in administration

Desirable requirements

A project management qualification

Experience of working with an international organisation and intercultural work

At least 1-year experience of project management
