As we discussed in the community this morning, our SHORT idea followed the EMA structure and played out as expected. 📉
🔹 Step 1: ETH pushed up into the resistance area, but the bullish momentum started to weaken.
🔹 Step 2: Price was rejected and moved back below the fast EMA (EMA20), showing that short-term momentum was changing.
🔹 Step 3: Instead of immediately recovering above the EMA20, price stayed below it. The EMA then started acting as dynamic resistance.
🔹 Step 4: This gave us further confirmation that sellers were taking control, increasing the probability of a move toward the next EMA/support levels.
📚 Key lesson:
Don’t trade based on one candle. Use the EMA structure to understand momentum:
Price below EMA -> Retest fails -> EMA acts as resistance -> Bearish momentum confirmation 📉
That is why we were looking for a SHORT opportunity this morning. Always wait for confirmation and manage your risk carefully.

Every time I hear someone say, “That loss was tuition,” I feel like there's something wrong with that phrase.
If you're going to call a loss a "cost," the big difference is whether it became a cost after it happened or was built into it beforehand.
To assign meaning to a loss after it has occurred, by saying, “It was a tuition fee,” or “That loss was necessary,” is to interpret what happened retroactively.
Perhaps you are simply turning a loss that has already happened into a story that is easier for you to come to terms with.
On the other hand, a loss incurred in a strategy with a statistical advantage is a cost that has been accounted for in advance.
The strategy was tested taking into account such losses. It was confirmed that the totality of her profitable and unprofitable trades gives a positive result over a long distance. And these losses were built into the strategy from the very beginning.
These two types of losses should not be considered the same “payment”.
The question is not whether you can say after the fact: “This loss was necessary.”
The question is: even before this loss occurred, did you have reason to consider it a predetermined cost?
