I don't know anybody who wants synthetic meat. So are we going to give up eating meat like they will soon demand that we do? Don't worry they are talking of genetically modify us to be allergic to meat so it will be easy. Will they also stop us keeping chickens for eggs?

Still the fight goes on to be able to use herbal remedies. What about the secondary effects of pharmaceutical treatments on our health? No mention is made of that. As the health service becomes less accessible and maybe privatised, people are definitely going to use great Grandma's remedies and herbal medicines because there will be a need for this...that is again a reason why we need to get some self sufficiency in treating health problems. I think many common complaints can be treated with basic knowledge but more complex conditions need expert knowledge.

US Regulators on Monday have given approval for the sale of beef from gene-edited cows in coming years after the Food and Drug Administration concluded there are not any safety concerns from their meat.
