Get a 2-burner camping stove this winter and avoid the nutty energy bills this winter. Save 💰💰💰💷💷💷
Get a torch in case it's too expensive to use much energy this winter.. get self sufficient in energy sources.
.
Keep toasty this winter, grab a reflective sports blanket and wrap yourself up in it....it's like a thermos flask, retains the heat...you will stay boiling hot all winter with one of these. £12 for 4 blankets from Amazon but any camping outlet will have them.

Crochet yourselves some blankets this winter, at least learn how to do it, you don't need to do fancy squares, just practical easy stuff like blankets with the most basic stitch for beginners. It might well be more difficult to obtain clothing or bedding in the future so start making your own now ok... If you can get hold of wool then you will be able to make bags, blankets, hats, scarves and those with more expertise can do more complicated garments. The idea is self sufficiency. This pic comes from a blog of a person who likes making blankets. She shows you how but you can just learn from YouTube the most basic stitch and use that for your blanket or scarf.... That way you will depend less on the shops.

If you can't get hold of balls of wool for making your blankets or garments from the shops then try to get hold of raw wool from a farm or online and make it into yarn.

People who want to start crochet or knitting or who know how to should stock up on yarn now so if you need to make a blanket or garment you have yarn. We can not be sure of future supply of yarn in shops or online because we can not be sure of the future supply of anything, due to fuel costs or other reasons. We should try to make our own clothes and blankets by crochet/knitting or even sewing using material. That way one is more self sufficient and not dependent on shop stock availability or possible inflated prices.

Start dressmaking or sewing or learn how to do it from YouTube videos or books. Keep a stock of fabrics at home for when you need to make some clothing, that way you don't need to depend on shops and you are self sufficient. In my opinion it's much easier to learn to crochet or knit than do dressmaking but some people find sewing easier than others.

Grow tomatoes at home using seeds from a 🍅. Seedlings get nutrients from 🥚 shells but you don't need to use them, just plant seeds in empty egg boxes with soil.

"In my opinion" we need to understand the importance of these self sufficiency skills. If you have the choice of doing an academic subject in your free time or practicing a self sufficiency related subject then choose skills that will enable you to become SELF SUFFICIENT. Concentrate and develop your hidden talents in FOOD STORAGE, COOKING, GARDENING, MAKING CLOTHES & MAKING TOILETRIES.

This soap looks so nice, very clever effect with the bubble wrap. However, I don't know the ingredients....I will try to find them. Anybody know?
This is from Amazon and is when you buy the soap base already made and you melt it, colour it and add perfume oil to it. Of course it's not really self sufficiency because you don't make the soap you just melt this and adapt it to suit. This is what they used for the honey soap I posted.
