Coming back to Allah is one of the most beautiful journeys a person can take, but it can also feel intimidating. Sometimes the hardest part isn't changing, it's worrying about how other people will see you. You might wonder if they'll judge your past, question your sincerity, or point out every mistake you make along the way.
But this journey isn't between you & people. It's between you & Allah. He is the One who knows your heart, your struggles, your intentions & every tear you've cried in private. His mercy is greater than any opinion & His door is always open to those who turn back to Him.
People may judge based on what they see, but Allah judges with perfect knowledge & infinite mercy. Don't let the fear of others keep you from taking a step toward the One who has never stopped calling you back. Every sincere effort, no matter how small, is seen by Him.
If you're returning to Allah, do it for Him alone. Let your heart find peace in His mercy rather than approval from people. May Allah keep us steadfast, forgive our shortcomings & make us among those who constantly return to Him 🤍

🌙 Self Reflection: Lessons from “Kembali Sehaluan” – Seminar Rumah Tangga
Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to volunteer with JomSembangSG at the Seminar Rumah Tangga Usrah: Kembali Sehaluan, featuring Ustaz Nuzhan and Ustazah Liyana.
Although many of us are still young and may feel that topics surrounding marriage are still far ahead in our lives, I believe that it is never too early to learn and expand our knowledge on such matters. Understanding the realities, challenges and responsibilities of marriage from now can help us better prepare ourselves emotionally, mentally and spiritually for the future.
Listening to the experiences and insights shared by both speakers during the Q&A session was truly eye-opening. It reminded me that every relationship requires intentional effort, understanding, patience and mercy.
Here are some lessons that deeply resonated with me:
❤️ 1. Marriage and children should not compete with each other
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Many parents become so focused on their children that they unintentionally neglect their spouse. Ustaz reminded us that it should never be “children or spouse”, but rather learning to balance both.
💔 2. Most marriages do not break overnight
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Most divorces happen after years of unresolved issues, emotional disconnection and loss of respect.
🤝 3. Marriage is more than just love
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Marriage also involves shared values, vision, faith, family responsibilities and the upbringing of future children.
🌱 4. Healing from betrayal takes time
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Trust can be rebuilt, but healing requires patience, sincere effort and sometimes professional guidance.
✨ 5. Do not enter a new relationship simply to escape past pain
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Before moving on, we need to heal properly and understand our intentions.
🕊️ 6. Islam prioritises peace and safety in marriage
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Islam does not encourage anyone to remain in harmful or abusive situations.
🌸 7. Happiness is not solely defined by having children
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
A successful marriage should not only be measured by whether a couple has children, as Allah’s plans for every family are different.
💬 8. Relationships need more than communication; they need connection
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
True connection happens when we sincerely try to understand our spouse’s fears, emotions and struggles.

Before the day gets busy, here’s a gentle reminder for your heart.
You don’t have to carry everything on your own. If your heart feels tired, tell Allah. If you’re worried about the future, tell Allah. If you’ve been silently crying over something no one knows about, tell Allah.
He is never tired of listening to you.
Sometimes we think we need to become a better Muslimah before we deserve to ask Allah for help. But that’s not true. We become better by continuing to turn back to Him, again and again.
Don’t let yesterday’s mistakes stop you from trying today. Everything that you did sincerely is seen by the One who knows your heart better than anyone else.
So whatever you’re facing today, don’t lose hope. Walk into this day knowing that Allah is with those who are patient, those who keep trying, and those who place their trust in Him.
May Allah ease every burden you’re carrying and make today a day that brings you closer to Him.
Have a beautiful morning, sisters. May Allah place barakah in your time, protect you wherever you go, and remind you that no matter what happens today, you are never alone as long as you have Him. 🤍

Kita mati bukan kerana sakit.
Bukan kerana kanser.
Bukan kerana kemalangan.

take a step back, and breathe, instead of complaining about our own lives and how we are not doing things right,
try to be grateful for the blesssings that Allah had provided us with. for indeed, Allah loves those who are grateful, and will continue to give more when you are grateful.

Sometimes we keep waiting until we're "better" before turning back to Allah…But that's not how it works
Come to Allah as you are.
Dengan segala flaws, penat, overthinking, and all the mistakes you've made.
Allah never asked us to be perfect. He only asked us to keep coming back to Him.
That's enough. 🤍

over the years, through many phases of life, i came into realisation that, to be grateful in life, is very challenging, although we can verbally say it, but are we feeling it though?
i realised that in order for us to master the feeling of gratitude, we must first learn the art of lowering down your expectations.
when we lower down our expectations, you will rarely get disappointed or feel miserable, as you have nothing to be worried about.
the problem with some of us is that we have high expectations and standards, towards our friends, our family, our partner, and when things go south, we feel super miserable as it doesn’t go your way.
try, the art of letting go, توكل, leaving it to the hands of Allah, and appreciate every single moment you have, by lowering your expectations.
trust me you will feel super happy and grateful.

I was staring into the dark when i suddenly remembered something my mum once told me.
"In the Akhirah, Allah will question every single thing we do."
That thought stayed with me.
Not just our prayers & fasting, but our work. How we earned our money & how we spent it. The way we treated our parents, our spouses, our children, our friends & even strangers. The words we spoke. The promises we made. The time we wasted. The blessings we were given but rarely thanked Allah for.
Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good just a small sin," or "No one saw it."
But Allah saw it.
Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good deed."
Allah saw that too.
Allah says:
"Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it & whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it." (Surah Az-Zalzalah 99:7–8)
The Prophet ﷺ also said that a person will not move from their place on the Day of Judgment until they are asked about their life, their youth, their wealth, how they earned it & how they spent it, & what they did with their knowledge. (Jami' at-Tirmidhi)
One day, our jobs, our salaries, our titles, our followers & everything we spent so much time chasing will be left behind. The only thing that will accompany us into our graves is our deeds.
May Allah make us mindful before we speak, before we act, before we earn, before we spend & before we meet Him. May He forgive our shortcomings, accept our repentance & make our questioning easy.
