كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ
“Every soul will taste death.”
[ali ‘imran 3:185]
-
there will come a day where whatever you have in this Dunya, would be left behind.
your status, your wealth, your family. the only thing that will be following you is your deeds. whether it is good or bad deeds, that would be our responsibility. be prepared, we do not know when would be our turn.
this advice goes out to myself first, then to all of u.

The most beautiful women are often those the world never truly knows, those who choose modesty over attention, dignity over display & haya over the pursuit of approval. While the world chases what is seen, she treasures what is hidden for the sake of Allah.
She understands that true beauty is not found in the number of eyes that admire her, but in the sincerity of her faith, the purity of her heart & the modesty with which she carries herself. Her worth is not defined by trends, compliments, or popularity, it is rooted in her character & her relationship with her Creator.
Every time she chooses haya, she adorns herself with a beauty that never fades. Every time she lowers her gaze, guards her speech & protects her dignity, she draws closer to Allah & distances herself from what is temporary.
A precious jewel is not displayed carelessly, it is protected because it is valuable. Likewise, modesty is not about hiding because of shame, it is about honoring oneself & living by principles that reflect faith & dignity.
The world may celebrate exposure, but Allah loves modesty. Beauty may capture attention for a moment, but haya, humility & righteousness leave a lasting legacy. The woman who seeks Allah's pleasure over people's approval has chosen a reward far greater than the fleeting praise of this world.
May Allah beautify our hearts with faith, adorn us with haya, strengthen us in modesty & make us among those who seek His pleasure above all else.

i used to not believe in this statement & would always blame myself on why people leave, but after awhile i come into realisation that,
everyone u meet, is a chapter of your life, each person you meet has its different purpose, meaning and story.
some might stay for good, some would leave, to give you a lesson. nonetheless, we have to accept the fate, qada’ & qadr, because nothing in this world is everlasting.

when we think that we’re in need of a certain blessing, we do not know that there are some other people that is more in need of it.
we also kept on thinking about that “wants”/“needs”, to the point where we forget to be grateful for our blessings that we currently have, that Allah had blessed us with.
at times, we just take our blessings for granted, for example, our health, our time and money.
we do not use it wisely, instead of spending our time with our loved ones, we spend it on our console games (not saying it is wrong because me too 😅)
but know how to differentiate your priorities (spending time with your loved ones) and your own self time.

To the sister who’s been thinking about wearing the hijab, a longer hijab, or the niqab.. I know one of the biggest fears isn’t the cloth itself. It’s the voices.
“People know my past.”
“They’ll think I’m trying to act like an ustazah.”
“What if I make mistakes after wearing it?”
If this is what’s holding you back, know that you’re not alone.
The hijab was never a sign that you’ve become perfect. It’s an act of obedience, a sincere step towards Allah, while still learning and growing.
Don’t let the opinions of people become louder than the whisper in your heart that wants to draw closer to Him.
Sometimes, to become who you’re trying to be, you have to distance yourself from the noise the opinions, expectations, and judgments of people so you can hear your heart answer Allah’s call more clearly.
Your past is not your identity. Your next sincere step could be the beginning of a beautiful return to Allah.
May Allah make your journey easy, protect your heart, and keep you steadfast upon goodness. Aamiin. 🤍

Coming back to Allah is one of the most beautiful journeys a person can take, but it can also feel intimidating. Sometimes the hardest part isn't changing, it's worrying about how other people will see you. You might wonder if they'll judge your past, question your sincerity, or point out every mistake you make along the way.
But this journey isn't between you & people. It's between you & Allah. He is the One who knows your heart, your struggles, your intentions & every tear you've cried in private. His mercy is greater than any opinion & His door is always open to those who turn back to Him.
People may judge based on what they see, but Allah judges with perfect knowledge & infinite mercy. Don't let the fear of others keep you from taking a step toward the One who has never stopped calling you back. Every sincere effort, no matter how small, is seen by Him.
If you're returning to Allah, do it for Him alone. Let your heart find peace in His mercy rather than approval from people. May Allah keep us steadfast, forgive our shortcomings & make us among those who constantly return to Him 🤍

🌙 Self Reflection: Lessons from “Kembali Sehaluan” – Seminar Rumah Tangga
Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to volunteer with JomSembangSG at the Seminar Rumah Tangga Usrah: Kembali Sehaluan, featuring Ustaz Nuzhan and Ustazah Liyana.
Although many of us are still young and may feel that topics surrounding marriage are still far ahead in our lives, I believe that it is never too early to learn and expand our knowledge on such matters. Understanding the realities, challenges and responsibilities of marriage from now can help us better prepare ourselves emotionally, mentally and spiritually for the future.
Listening to the experiences and insights shared by both speakers during the Q&A session was truly eye-opening. It reminded me that every relationship requires intentional effort, understanding, patience and mercy.
Here are some lessons that deeply resonated with me:
❤️ 1. Marriage and children should not compete with each other
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Many parents become so focused on their children that they unintentionally neglect their spouse. Ustaz reminded us that it should never be “children or spouse”, but rather learning to balance both.
💔 2. Most marriages do not break overnight
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Most divorces happen after years of unresolved issues, emotional disconnection and loss of respect.
🤝 3. Marriage is more than just love
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Marriage also involves shared values, vision, faith, family responsibilities and the upbringing of future children.
🌱 4. Healing from betrayal takes time
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Trust can be rebuilt, but healing requires patience, sincere effort and sometimes professional guidance.
✨ 5. Do not enter a new relationship simply to escape past pain
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
Before moving on, we need to heal properly and understand our intentions.
🕊️ 6. Islam prioritises peace and safety in marriage
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
Islam does not encourage anyone to remain in harmful or abusive situations.
🌸 7. Happiness is not solely defined by having children
(Shared by Ustaz Nuzhan)
A successful marriage should not only be measured by whether a couple has children, as Allah’s plans for every family are different.
💬 8. Relationships need more than communication; they need connection
(Shared by Ustazah Liyana)
True connection happens when we sincerely try to understand our spouse’s fears, emotions and struggles.

Before the day gets busy, here’s a gentle reminder for your heart.
You don’t have to carry everything on your own. If your heart feels tired, tell Allah. If you’re worried about the future, tell Allah. If you’ve been silently crying over something no one knows about, tell Allah.
He is never tired of listening to you.
Sometimes we think we need to become a better Muslimah before we deserve to ask Allah for help. But that’s not true. We become better by continuing to turn back to Him, again and again.
Don’t let yesterday’s mistakes stop you from trying today. Everything that you did sincerely is seen by the One who knows your heart better than anyone else.
So whatever you’re facing today, don’t lose hope. Walk into this day knowing that Allah is with those who are patient, those who keep trying, and those who place their trust in Him.
May Allah ease every burden you’re carrying and make today a day that brings you closer to Him.
Have a beautiful morning, sisters. May Allah place barakah in your time, protect you wherever you go, and remind you that no matter what happens today, you are never alone as long as you have Him. 🤍

Kita mati bukan kerana sakit.
Bukan kerana kanser.
Bukan kerana kemalangan.

take a step back, and breathe, instead of complaining about our own lives and how we are not doing things right,
try to be grateful for the blesssings that Allah had provided us with. for indeed, Allah loves those who are grateful, and will continue to give more when you are grateful.
••
لَىِٕنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَاَزِيْدَنَّكُمْ
If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more.
