Aamiin.

"We are gonna end up alone in the grave anyway"

But who do you think washed your body ? Who do you think wrapped you ? Who do you think prayed for your jenazah ? Who do you think lowered you into your grave ?

While death is certain, and we stand alone during our meeting with Allah, we cannot deny that our life isnt meant to be lived alone when Allah created us with the purpose of helping one another

While it is important to say no and take time for yourself, mormalise inconveniencing yourself to show up for others when it matters because that is what Allah intended for us to do, show up

Dont wait for the day when Allah grants your wish of being alone to be on the day you return to Allah

Ashamed to say I had this mindset before, but surely Allah opens our hearts to step back and think of what we wish for carefully

The Prophet ๏ทบ did not only want us to be good Muslims for ourselves. He wanted us to be people who bring goodness to others as well.

Islam is not just about focusing on our own worship & personal righteousness. While we strive to become soleh (righteous), we should also aim to be muslih (reformers), people who help others, give sincere advice, encourage good & guide those around us towards Allah ุณุจุญุงู†ู‡ ูˆุชุนุงู„ู‰.

So do not be content with being righteous only for yourself. Strive to be someone who benefits others & becomes a means for them to draw closer to Allah.

The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said:

ุฎูŽูŠู’ุฑู ุงู„ู†ูŽู‘ุงุณู ุฃูŽู†ู’ููŽุนูู‡ูู…ู’ ู„ูู„ู†ูŽู‘ุงุณู

โ€œThe best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.

โ€œAnd who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah and does righteous deeds?โ€
(Surah Fussilat, 41:33)

May Allah make us among those who not only receive guidance, but also become a means of guidance for others. May He make us not only soleh, but muslih, people who bring benefit, inspire change & lead others closer to Him.

Don't just be righteous. Be a reason others become righteous too.

Imagine truly living with this certainty. No jealousy. No panic over competition. No obsession with controlling everything. No bitterness over delayed dreams. Because what Allah has decreed for you does not require desperation to reach you. It was written before your first breath.
Prophet Muhammed ๏ทบ taught us that while still in the womb, an angel writes a personโ€™s provision, lifespan, deeds, and destiny.
โ€œThe angel is sent to him and writes four matters: his provision, his lifespan, his deeds, and whether he will be wretched or blessed.โ€

we can take potential World Cup 26โ€™ somalian referee Omar, as an example to how Allah is Al-Fattah, The opening of all doors.

recently, a news went by about how he was denied entry into the US(reasons are yet unknown), and ofcourse there were emotions rolling around, especially to how he has made history, being the first Somalian Referee in the World cup.

But, after exiting the US, he was welcomed home as a hero where large crowds applauded him still, a hero, for how strong he is mentally.

And to add on after that incident, he has now officially become the referee for the UEFA Super Cup Final where two european champions team will be facing each other, one of the biggest stage too!

This isnโ€™t just about football, itโ€™s about how Allah closes a door, and opens other doors for you! Indeed what left you, what you chose to leave or what is delayed, could be a protection wallahualam, and He grants you doors that are better for you, doors that comes unexpectedly in the most beautiful way subhana Allah!

โ€˜when love hurtsโ€™ ๐Ÿ’” - ustaz mizi wahid
One of the key lessons I took away from the talk โ€œWhen Love Hurtsโ€ by Ustaz Mizi Wahid was the understanding that there are two types of love. The first is a love that brings us closer to Allah SWT, while the second is a love that distances us from Him. Ustaz reminded us that a righteous relationship should be a source of peace and tranquility. After a long and tiring day, our spouse should be someone who brings comfort and calmness to our hearts, not someone who causes us to feel dread or anxiety when returning home. Marriage should be a safe space where both partners can express their struggles, support one another, and find peace in each otherโ€™s presence.

One of the interesting moments during the talk was when Ustaz asked the sisters whether they would easily forgive a man who had broken their hearts. The responses were not straightforward, and many admitted that it would be very difficult to forgive after experiencing such emotional pain. He then posed the same question to the brothers, and surprisingly, many of them said they would forgive almost instantly. Through these differing responses, Ustaz highlighted how fragile a womanโ€™s heart can be. Once broken, emotional wounds can take a very long time to heal. This served as a reminder for us, especially as men, to treat women with kindness, respect, and sincerity, and never take their feelings lightly.

Another point that resonated with me was the discussion about making the first move in seeking a spouse. Ustaz shared that many men are often afraid of rejection and hesitate to take the first step, while many women tend to wait for men to initiate. However, he explained that it does not always have to be this way. As an example, he reminded us of the beautiful story of Sayyidatina Khadijah RA, who expressed her interest in marrying Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ. This showed that taking the initiative in a respectful and dignified manner is not something exclusive to men, and that sincerity and good intentions are what truly matter.

Finally, Ustaz emphasised the importance of choosing a partner who helps us grow closer to Allah SWT. In a world where society often promotes superficial standards of love and relationships, we should instead prioritise faith, character, and righteousness. A successful relationship is not merely one that fulfils our worldly desires, but one that strengthens our connection with Allah and supports us on the journey towards Jannah. This talk reminded me that true love is not just about emotions, but about finding someone who inspires us to become better Muslims and brings us closer to our Creator.
