sometimes we believe that weโ€™re on top of the world, but we just need to be humble, because life comes at you fast!

life is like a wheel, sometimes youโ€™re on top, sometimes youโ€™re below. nonetheless, be grateful for everything that Allah has provided you!

our final destination, are we ready for it? are we prepared, has our deen been consistent?

how are we preparing for it? or are we still lacking here and there.. death wonโ€™t inform you in advance when they will invite you. at any point of time, whether you are ready or not, it can just come.

wallahu โ€˜alam.

"Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant" โ€” Surah Al-Baqarah (2:222)

Shaytan doesn't win when you slip, he wins when he convinces you that your dirty hands aren't allowed to touch the door of mercy. If you break your repentance a thousand times, mend it a thousand and one times. The door doesn't lock from the inside.

i always believe that your life is partly dependent on your duโ€™a, if you just go through it without communicating, without making duโ€™a to Allah.

it is fairly redundant, as when you make Duโ€™a, thatโ€™s when you are telling Allah, oh ya rabb, i put my trust in you, of whatever that is controlling my heart and soul.

i am putting my trust in you, to take care of my heart as you are my creator. that is a sign of gratitude, that we should practice, in sya allah.

the importance of Salah, anywhere you go, perform your Salah as it is the most important deed to do.

you sin? pray, as that would be the one that would hopefully keep u away from sinning again.

Friday Sunnah Reminders ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“ฟ

Jumuโ€˜ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ as the best day.

Key Sunnahs of Friday:
1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah
Rasulullah ๏ทบ said:

โ€œThe person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.โ€
Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484

2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah)
The Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œWhoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.โ€
Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani

3. Perform ghusl (Jumuโ€˜ah bath) and maintain cleanliness
Abu Saโ€˜id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said:

โ€œThe taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.โ€
Sahih Bukhari

4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing
Allah says:

โ€œPut on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.โ€
โ€” Surah Al-Aโ€˜raf 7:31

5. Make duโ€˜a to Allah abundantly
6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices

โ€œFive are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.โ€

7. Increase duโ€˜a between Asr and Maghrib
The Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œOn this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.โ€
Bukhari & Muslim

Ibn Al-Qayyim ุฑุญู…ู‡ ุงู„ู„ู‡ said this special hour is:

โ€œThe last hour after Asr.โ€
โ€” Abu Dawud & An-Nasaโ€™i

Even if you canโ€™t do everything, donโ€™t leave everything. May Allah accept our deeds and ease our affairs.

today marks the final day of a chapter in my life, before entering a new chapter. the one that my friends and i have been pursuing, working for, studying hard for, had finally ended.

part of me feel thankful that it has ended but i definitely feel sad too. the friendships that were made throughout this chapter is certainly what i would always cherish.

without my best mates, i donโ€™t think it would be possible for me to be where i am right now.

through laughters and sorrows, i appreciate everything about them, may we continue to succeed and grow in our ways, allahumma amin. ๐Ÿฅฒ
โค16
and one takeaway that i get from being in this chapter is that, never be shy to ask, never be shy to put yourself out there.

because once you are shy, thats your opportunity lost! you should be more confident of your potential and believe in yourself, believe that you can do the โ€œimpossibleโ€.

once you put a โ€œnoโ€ to it, thats your wasted chance. be confident. and thats what i have learnt in this chapter, i feel like i am more extrovert than i was when i first entered.

alhamdulillah โ€˜ala kulli haalโ€ฆ bak kata pepatah melayu, malu berkayuh perahu hanyut ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜›

Alhamdulillah, today marks the conclusion of our Nur Night Camp organised by Fitwah Al-Mawaddah.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow together throughout this meaningful camp. InsyaAllah, over the coming days, we will be sharing some of the valuable knowledge and lessons we gained, especially from the session โ€œWhen Love Hurtsโ€ by Ustaz Mizi Wahid.

May Allah allow us to benefit from this knowledge and put it into practice in our daily lives. Ameen. โœจโœจ

The part that hits me the most in this Nur Night Camp. A very impactful and reminder for all of us that we should appreciate and continue to love our parents as long as they're alive in this Dunya. Appreciate their hardwork, dedication & sacrifice for all of us. Ibu & bapa sayang kita โค๏ธ

Aamiin.

"We are gonna end up alone in the grave anyway"

But who do you think washed your body ? Who do you think wrapped you ? Who do you think prayed for your jenazah ? Who do you think lowered you into your grave ?

While death is certain, and we stand alone during our meeting with Allah, we cannot deny that our life isnt meant to be lived alone when Allah created us with the purpose of helping one another

While it is important to say no and take time for yourself, mormalise inconveniencing yourself to show up for others when it matters because that is what Allah intended for us to do, show up

Dont wait for the day when Allah grants your wish of being alone to be on the day you return to Allah

Ashamed to say I had this mindset before, but surely Allah opens our hearts to step back and think of what we wish for carefully

The Prophet ๏ทบ did not only want us to be good Muslims for ourselves. He wanted us to be people who bring goodness to others as well.

Islam is not just about focusing on our own worship & personal righteousness. While we strive to become soleh (righteous), we should also aim to be muslih (reformers), people who help others, give sincere advice, encourage good & guide those around us towards Allah

So do not be content with being righteous only for yourself. Strive to be someone who benefits others & becomes a means for them to draw closer to Allah.

The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said:

ุฎูŽูŠู’ุฑู ุงู„ู†ูŽู‘ุงุณู ุฃูŽู†ู’ููŽุนูู‡ูู…ู’ ู„ูู„ู†ูŽู‘ุงุณู

โ€œThe best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.

โ€œAnd who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah and does righteous deeds?โ€
(Surah Fussilat, 41:33)

May Allah make us among those who not only receive guidance, but also become a means of guidance for others. May He make us not only soleh, but muslih, people who bring benefit, inspire change & lead others closer to Him.

Don't just be righteous. Be a reason others become righteous too.
