@/sabrandgrace from instagram! may it benefits all of us,

let’s practice reading atleast once a day, in the morning when you’re on your way to work or school, evening when you’re eating your lunch, or at night before you go to sleep.

— if you can’t read all, don’t leave all, read at least one of them.

let’s not waste this opportunity oki. 🍎

If you feel like youre missing out on the blessed days of Zulhijjah because of your committments, remember,

Ibadah is beyond just prayer, even going to school/work can be a means to get closer to Allah and a form of ibadah ! Set your intentions, do things for the sake Allah and give it your best

Surely Allah will reward you for your effort :)

this Dhul Hijjah is yours, make du’a for the things you think are impossible, because nothing is impossible for Allah. keep asking, keep hoping, keep turning to Him in every moment. you don’t need the perfect words. these days can change everything, if you don’t waste them.

🏃‍♂️

sometimes, all you need is just yourself, go out alone, eat outside alone, go for a run alone. it’s never a negative thing to do things alone.

learn things about yourself, discover things that people might not know about you. take this time off to relieve yourself from this Dunya, and maybe treat yourself with a little meal.

enjoy your own company, alone time, that’s when your messy thoughts will come into place, and in the end, you’ll feel the calmness.

lately, i have been going out alone to see if i am able to do things alone, as i am quite a dependent person. but, unknowingly, alhamdulillah, i am able to do things alone, and i infact prefer my own company, going on my own way, and enjoy every little things about myself.

trust me, it works.

learn to love yourself first, before loving others.

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿

Jumu‘ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the best day.

Key Sunnahs of Friday:
1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah ﷺ
Rasulullah ﷺ said:

“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.”
Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484

2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah)
The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.”
Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani

3. Perform ghusl (Jumu‘ah bath) and maintain cleanliness
Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.”
Sahih Bukhari

4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing
Allah says:

“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.”
Surah Al-A‘raf 7:31

5. Make du‘a to Allah abundantly
6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported:

“Five are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.”

7. Increase du‘a between Asr and Maghrib
The Prophet ﷺ said:

“On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.”
— Bukhari & Muslim

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said this special hour is:

“The last hour after Asr.”
— Abu Dawud & An-Nasa’i

Even if you can’t do everything, don’t leave everything. May Allah accept our deeds and ease our affairs. 🕊
