Your faith isnt solely measured by the length of your hijab or by the number of rakaahs you perform

Faith lies within the way you treat others, the things you think in your mind and heart and the words that fall out of your mouth

Someone who is fearful of Allah and is aware of their adab and what is pleasing to Allah even if it is hidden from the eyes of others is truly faithful

seeking knowledge in Islam is not something tied to age, it is a lifelong journey, from the moment we are aware until our last breath. whether you are young & full of curiosity, or older & carrying years of experience, the door to knowledge is always open.

Allah ุณุจุญุงู†ู‡ ูˆุชุนุงู„ู‰ elevates those who seek knowledge, regardless of when they begin.

in the Quran, He says:
โ€œAllah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.โ€
Surah Al Mujadilah 58:11

there is no mention of age, only iman & knowledge.

The Prophet ๏ทบ also made it clear that seeking knowledge is not optional or limited to a phase in life. He said:

โ€œSeeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.โ€

not just the young. not just students. every Muslim. sometimes we feel like itโ€™s โ€œtoo lateโ€ like we should have started earlier, memorised more, understood deeper. but thatโ€™s shaitan playing with your mind. in reality, every step you take now still counts, still raises you, still brings you closer to Allah.

even the companions of the Prophet ๏ทบ continued learning & growing throughout their lives. they never saw knowledge as something you โ€œcompleteโ€ itโ€™s something you live with.

so whether youโ€™re revisiting the basics, learning to read Quran properly, attending classes, or simply trying to understand your deen better, it is never small & it is never too late.

because in Islam, the one who starts late but is sincere may reach heights the one who started early never did.

seek knowledge not for status, not to be seen but to know Allah better, to worship Him better & to return to Him in a state He is pleased with.

loved my hair so much, the way it framed my face, the way it made me feel beautifulโ€ฆ but not more than i love Allah. so i chose to cover it, not out of loss, but out of love.

because this was never about giving something up, it was about giving something for Him. a quiet act of obedience, a personal jihad against my own desires, a reminder that my beauty was never meant for the world to consume, but to be honoured in the way He has commanded.

i may not have known a life without it, having worn the hijab since i was 3 but as i grow, i understand it more deeply. what once was simply a practice has now become a conscious choice, one i continue to make every single day.

what is temporary can never outweigh what is eternal. every strand i conceal, i pray becomes a witness for me, not against me.
ya Allah, accept this from me. grant me sincerity in every intention & make this journey one that brings me closer to You, not just in appearance, but in heart.

Lower your gaze โ€” not merely from the opposite gender,
but from all that darkens the heart:

โ€ข Lower it from the faults of others,
for a heart busy exposing others forgets to heal itself.

โ€ข Lower it from what does not concern you,
for not every sight is meant for your soul.

โ€ข Lower it from what others strive to conceal,
for honour lies in protecting, not unveiling.

โ€ข Lower it from what ignites your anger,
for the eyes can fuel a fire the heart cannot contain.

Lower it from what stirs jealousy within you,
for contentment grows where comparison is buried.

Guard your gaze โ€” for what enters the eyes settles in the heart,
and what settles in the heart shapes your akhirat.

๐Ÿง•๐Ÿผ

and this is why Islam is so beautiful. i personally feel that, although our clothings do not portray who we really are, it do serves as a protection for us.

give for an example, you will never see a man with a thobe going into a casino; you will never see a woman donning a hijab goes to a non-halal restaurant,

all because of the shame in ourselves, to make sure that we take good care of the image of our beautiful religion, Islam.

i believe that we as Muslims, we would always love to have other non muslims to see us as a religion of peace instead of the opposite.

hence, we keep the image as it is, that does not mean that we are pious, it just means that we are trying our best, to be a better version of ourselves; than yesterday.

wallahu โ€˜alam.

why are we so disappointed? Allah has reminded us this dunya isnโ€™t for usโ€ฆ

yet we still expect it to feel like home. we hold onto people like theyโ€™re permanent, build our hopes as if they wonโ€™t collapse & place our happiness in things that were never meant to last. then when it all shifts, when people change or leave, when things donโ€™t go the way we plannedโ€ฆ we feel that deep disappointment, as if something unfair just happened to us.

but maybe itโ€™s not unfair. maybe itโ€™s a reminder.

a reminder that this dunya was never meant to complete us, only to test us. that the emptiness we feel, the ache that lingers, is not there to break us, but to redirect us. back to Allah, back to what is eternal, back to a place where our hearts will finally be at rest.

because the truth is, no matter how beautiful this dunya may seem at timesโ€ฆ it will never be enough for a soul that was created for Jannah.

Friday Sunnah Reminders ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“ฟ

Jumuโ€˜ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ as the best day.

Key Sunnahs of Friday:
1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah ๏ทบ
Rasulullah ๏ทบ said:

โ€œThe person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.โ€
โ€” Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484

2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah)
The Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œWhoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.โ€
โ€” Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani

3. Perform ghusl (Jumuโ€˜ah bath) and maintain cleanliness
Abu Saโ€˜id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said:

โ€œThe taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.โ€
โ€” Sahih Bukhari

4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing
Allah says:

โ€œPut on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.โ€
โ€” Surah Al-Aโ€˜raf 7:31

5. Make duโ€˜a to Allah abundantly
6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices
Abu Hurayrah ุฑุถูŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ู‡ reported:

โ€œFive are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.โ€

7. Increase duโ€˜a between Asr and Maghrib
The Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œOn this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.โ€
โ€” Bukhari & Muslim

Ibn Al-Qayyim ุฑุญู…ู‡ ุงู„ู„ู‡ said this special hour is:

โ€œThe last hour after Asr.โ€
โ€” Abu Dawud & An-Nasaโ€™i

You could pay someone a billion dollars to stop doing something and they would,

but when Allah offers to pay you with Jannah, some would still hesitate to wait for a better time to start

A better time will come to pass, but death will most certainly come too, and we'd never know if it will reach us first before the "right time" can

Many of us struggle to detach ourselves from the temptations of this dunya but fail to realise that leaving that all behind gets us more, and surely with Allah is the best reward

So if you needed a sign to start change, take this as your sign

maturing is understanding that in this life itโ€™s just you and Allah. people will hurt you, Allah wonโ€™t. people will leave you, Allah wonโ€™t. people will break your heart and forget about you, Allah wonโ€™t.

for everytime we feel like giving up, donโ€™t. Allah fated it to happen, because He wants your Tawbah, He loves to see you come back to Him.

for indeed, one step you take to Him, He will take 10 steps towards you.

treat people how you want to be treated, one mean word could break the personโ€™s heart into thousand pieces.

think before you say anything, you do not know if you would lose the person completely.
โค27
Youโ€™ve probably been in a situation before where you felt like there was no way out โ€” a moment when everything seemed to be falling apart.

But guess what? Alhamdulillah, you made it. You lived through it, you learned from it, you survived.

If Allah made a way out for you every single time before, what makes you think youโ€™re stuck now?

He is still with you. So make duโ€˜a. His help is always near.

never limit your prayers because you think you are sinful or undeserving. you are not praying because of who you are ; you are praying because of who He is, and He is the One whose mercy and love for you are endless.
