Someone should build the AAU Story App, though. You could make it work for any campus—it’d be perfect for college students: best food spots, places to study, hangout locations, events, and even a rant section to drive traction. Maybe even add a dating feature 👀

If you want my advice, build it with friends. Find a group of 2–4 people, document the whole app-building process, and ship it. I’ll help with shout-outs.

I’m sure it’ll get you a job, real experience, and maybe even closer friendships (or at least be better than most local internships 😁).

Buying original gadgets in Addis is so hard, man… The moment you start investigating whatever they’re selling, you can see the panic on their faces. Most of the stuff they sell you is fake. Some even get mad when you check and tell them it’s fake… so annoying, fr.
