Unshaken Faith
Daniel 6:19–22 : At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called Daniel in an anguished voice, ‘Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?’ Daniel answered, ‘May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight.

🚀 I Built a Checkers AI Agent That Learns Like a Brain! 🤖♟️
Hello everyone! I just built a Checkers AI Agent that learns to play using the NEAT (NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies) algorithm! 🧠♟️
After a long time of learning and building, I finally created a Checkers AI Agent that mimics biology using the NEAT algorithm.
This AI doesn’t just play; it learns through self-play and evolves its neural network structure over time, just like a brain. Inspired by AlphaGo, I wanted to explore how AI can mimic biological evolution — and watching it get smarter is honestly exciting.
It’s still at a basic level, but seeing it grow and learn on its own makes it incredibly rewarding. You can play against the AI in your browser or train your own models.
It is also open source.
Try it online, check out the code, or contribute!

When it comes to handling and processing files, videos, text, images, whatever .. Python’s ecosystem is by far the most solid and mature I’ve seen.

This week I’ve been trying to wake up at 3 AM and even set my alarm for it, but for some reason, I just can’t my ears are literally numb to the ringtone 😁. Somehow tho, my body clock still wakes me up at 4. I don’t even know how to explain it.

ELPA is really messing with me 🤦♂️. The embarrassment I faced today, bro… I was tryna join this meeting to present our company’s work to some guests, and the second it started, boom, rain hits and as always the power was no were to be found😭.
Don’t even ask what happened after that. I was jumping between Safari and Tele like I’m not even a paying user 🤦♂️. The Meet app kept kicking me out ‘cause of the trash connection. I was so embarrassed 😭🤦♂️.

Better auth is the only reason I’m not using Python for my apps mainly these days, fr. In fact, I’m still so attached to it that I have another Python microservice just for the video engine ... to handle file processing features like moviepy, imageio, and more.

I used to listen to this song back in 10th grade, during my first year at boarding school. It was rough, first time away from home, super competitive, and the school had just opened, so nothing was really in place. We transferred late, lost our old friends and routine, and had to start everything from scratch. The schoolwork was intense.
Every time I hear this song, it brings all that back and it gives me a flashback to that time. Funny how I’ve got songs tied to almost every major phase of my life. This one gave me strength ... hope it does the same for you 😊

We Hosted the Largest Hardware Hackathon
On July 11-13, two teenagers, organized and lead the largest four-day hackathon for teenage builders. This was the first time we ever did a full-on hardware hackathon, and a large shoutout to @GitHub for donating their space to use as a venue.

One thing I really wish I had known about back in high school is Hack Club. I would’ve loved to be a part of it. If I were in high school right now, I’d do anything to join .. like seriously. I know there are some high school students in this channel, and I highly recommend you check it out. They’ve got contests and tons of cool stuff going on. If you can, reach out and even start organizing Hack Club Ethiopia 👌🔥
