Back to where we started... let’s start with the bright side: it was awesome! Met a lot of new students, awesome guests, and worked with an amazing team. Super glad it happened, fr

Now, there were definitely issues—like the mic, time management, and the venue setup. Behind the scenes, it was the worst: God i hate beaurocracy. guests almost got blocked from entering, the banner and other stuff barely made it in. We only got full access to the venue around 7:30 when we expected it to be at 6:30 🤦‍♂️.

But hey, shoutout to everyone who’s breaking that Habesha time habit 😁. I was surprised to see so many students almost 60% showing up at 7:30 for an 8:00 event. That gave me huge hope for our future here .

Anyway, let’s switch off the GDG AAU stuff for a bit... I was too busy with everything to keep up with #progress_100 these last two days, but I’ll be back at it starting tomorrow. Just a little vent for the night 😂. I haven't slept this long in ages—over 16 hours in the past 24 hours—thanks to @ethio_telecom and @eeuethiopia ! ... It's amazing to have providers that truly care about our health and work-life balance. 😂
