Why donโt we (here in Ethiopia) have a legit dating app? Forget those Tinder clones, our culture isnโt the same as the West. Or maybe it just wonโt work here at all? But honestly, this feels like the perfect time for it. Internet access is everywhere now, and itโs way cheaper than it was 3-5 years ago. People are more aware and ready for good UX, theyโd adapt in no time (just look at how TikTok blew up here). It doesnโt even have to be just a web or mobile app. But I feel like if we donโt figure this out, the next generation will still be stuck with the same problem. So, what do you think? ๐

I'll be dockerizing the whole project and setting up a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions. Whenever something gets merged to main, it'll automatically build the Docker image, push it to Docker Hub, then SSH into the VPS, pull the latest image, and restart the container with Docker Compose. All fully automated โ no manual steps.

Letโs Be Honest .. Itโs Just Not Fair
Weโve reached a point where people with honorary doctorates get called โDoctorโ just like those who spent years studying, researching, and earning it the hard way. And letโs be realโthatโs not just confusing, itโs unfair.
An honorary degree is a gesture of appreciation, not an academic achievement. Using the same title for both blurs the line and disrespects the effort real scholars put in. If we truly value education, letโs not hand out its highest honors like thank-you cards.
