I want to share a story about my friend, Kalkidan—a talented Python developer and a key contributor to the Ethiopian dev community. He’s known for building amazing Telegram bots that many of us use and benefit from. But what’s truly inspiring? He’s done all of this using just his phone.
Despite his passion and dedication, not having a laptop makes it harder for him to grow and achieve more. That’s why I’ve decided to start a fundraising campaign to help him buy a laptop.
This is the biggest thing I want to achieve this year, and with your help, we can make it happen! Every contribution counts, no matter how small. Let's give Kalkidan (a.k.a kkyk )the tools he needs to keep growing and supporting our community.

Elon Musk's buyout of TikTok US is a great idea, although it's somewhat becoming a personal monopoly (no offense, though).

My friend @KeO_coder has built an impressive project showcase mini-app! You can add details about your project, such as the live link, GitHub repository, your social links, and more. These projects will then be featured on @homeofprojects — it has Telegram Hacker News vibe and i really liked that, make sure to go and post your projects 🔥🔥

Today felt a bit different—started off pretty intense. I’ve been diving deeper into Web-sockets continuing from yesterday. Might try building something with WebRTC and Web-sockets, maybe for the Manhunt game.

Let’s start the day!
I’m planning to finish building a WebSocket-related project today. I might also add some WebRTC features, but I’m not sure about that yet. Additionally, I’m considering hosting a live session later today—still deciding on the topic, but we’ll see how that goes.

If people are the owners or the ones taking responsibility, there must be a pattern, trick, or method to figure out the formula for anything, right? It's doable, I guess.

you're out here flexing your 600-day Duolingo streak like you just conquered the Olympics, while this guy casually picks up his 600th language and starts communicating in a month 😂. jokes aside .. is duolingo worth it .. i mean 've seen a lot of folks trying to learn a language on Duolingo and failing .

FYI (no idea how this happened or whose fault it is).
Here’s the deal: I can’t stand YouTubers making ‘make production-grade’ apps with tools like Bolt or Windsurf in clickbait videos. They don’t know the difference between an MVP and real production quality, and they rely on tools like Firebase or Vercel without realizing how easily they could spike up charges from silly mistakes.

Forwarded from Chapi Dev Talks
Hi everyone I have been discussing to organize dev meetup version 3 with the organizers, who is up for it? 😁
so looking back our last event, it was really amazing and I hope everyone had a great time what really made it special was the hard work of all the organizers, especially in managing sponsorships and we are happy the outcome was great.
but this time we all are quite busy and tbh, since we hassled too much last time we’re hoping to avoid handling sponsorships ourselves this time, we all have a lot on our plate
so me and other organizers are thinking to make it a half day event, but if there is anyone here who would like to sponsor or can help secure sponsorships to make the event happen we’d love to have you so feel free to comment here, we might also need some volunteers if it is even a half day event so let us know here

Client & project management Saas product UI Design

So, my brother and I are working on this SaaS product that’s all about making life easier for solo freelancers. The whole idea is to fix the headaches around communication, project management, and file organization—basically streamlining everything in one place for both the freelancer and their clients.
Here’s how it works: as a freelancer, you’ll set up a unique dashboard for each client. Your clients will be able to see project milestones, files you’ve shared, tasks you’re working on or have completed, and even things like FAQs and reviews. Plus, there’s built-in chat, feature request tracking, and even analytics to keep everything clear and organized.
