‼️ ‼️#Alert ‼️‼️

This is an alert for my members to protect themselves from impersonators who clone my account and create Fake Tech Nerd profiles. For your general knowledge, if you hear about profiting, free money, trading, it's likely not me. Please let me know.

On the bright side, I'm glad to have reached a point where I can warn you about fake Tech Nerd accounts pretending to be me. Pretty cool, right? 😁

I'm realizing how easy it is for someone to pretend to be you online by copying your profile picture and name.

What's going on with Tailwind not rendering colors in dynamic states? I'm stuck on this. It shouldn't be taking me this much time. I'm still having problems rendering colors. I receive a color/theme from my backend server and use that to render colors with Tailwind's dynamic feature. The weird part is that it works for some and it doesn't for others. I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?

I'm working on something super cool that you're gonna love! It's not too complicatedβ€”I just got the idea and dove right in. I've got tons of features in mind, but for now, I think I'll keep it open source with just one or two awesome functionalities.

Here's the tech stack I'm using: Hono.js for the backend, MongoDB for the database, JWT, Next.js, Zustand for state management, TypeScript, shadcn for UI components, Zod for form validation, Mongoose - ORM, and Tailwind for styling. And of course, my brain to mix all this together and cook up something amazing 😁. Stay tuned!

I promise my next side project is gonna be with the BETH stack or Svelte/Vue 😊

I'm currently facing a problem with the feed page for the desktop. For some weird reason, I initially designed it for the desktop first, whereas I usually design for mobile first. Now, I'm playing hide and seek with the devices, meaning that since I can't adapt one design for the other, I'm just hiding elements on one screen size and creating similar ones for the other screen size 😁. I know, I know, it's not efficient, but I don't want to go back and fix this. It's better to do it this way, at least for now.

a friend of mine is conducting a market research for her internship and she is trying to find people that fulfill the following criteria. So if there's anyone you know (including you) that she can interview for about 1 hour (method of interview and time being your/their choice), please let me know. It'd mean a lot and we'll be in your debt.

Feel free to send me a DM if you're interested!

What is wrong with the Next.js dev mode compiler? It's so slow and frustrating. It works fine when I run the production build, but in dev mode, it feels like I'm running complex simulation on outdated hardware. I found an issue on GitHub, and many developers are having the same problem. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this? It's become a "save and pray" situation, waiting at least 30 seconds for it to compile every time I refresh, change routes, or use any dynamic function.

There is no worse feeling than missing an alarm you set, planning to do a lot of things when you wake up. I should have been up by 12:00 PM, but it's now 3:40 PM. Damn 😭. The only thing I can do right now is pray for God to bless my remaining time and make it productive. Only that way can I compensate for the wasted time. Anyway, let's make good use of our remaining time.

I spent an hour trying to store the GET request response into a Zustand state and fetch it in another component, but it wasn't working. I tried everything and finally, after about an hour, I figured out something was wrong with my backend. When I tested it in Postman, I was receiving an array even though I expected only one object. I thought I used .findOne, but it was actually .find, which made my state incompatible, and I was getting nothing. 😁

Today holds a surprise. There's something I want to show you all. I have an Applied Math III midterm exam at 8:00 AM (2:00 local time). But afterward, there'll be a lot of coverage about the surprise. Stay tuned for some cool stuff! 😊
