#Nerd_space

Yooooo, #Nerd_Space has got its first sponsor! #Nerd_space is now officially backed by Yegara HOST.

I can't even express how excited I am right now. They offered me a year-long VPS hosting plan with a domain name worth 13,350 ETB. What amazed me the most is that I reached out to them at 7:30 AM (1:30 AM local time) this morning, and by 9:45 AM (3:45 AM local time), I had completed the ordering and buying process. They assured me that they would support the project all the way. It’s really amazing how supportive and responsive they are, and I want to thank them with you, my audience. God bless Yegara and their team! 😊

@selfmadecoder
Ohh, another sponsorship! #Nerd_space has secured our second sponsor, Hahu Clouds.

They mentioned they are very excited to help and be a part of #Nerd_space. Since I already have the hosting plan for the #Nerd_space project, I talked to them about having a giveaway for my community members. So, I am going to host an amazing contest called #Nerd_Fest. I am planning a side project showcase or something like a hackathon, and the winner will receive a one-year Enterprise PLUS hosting plan with one .COM domain name from Hahu Clouds.

Make sure not to miss the contest and get your prize. I also want to thank Hahu Clouds for their support, sponsorship, and contribution to the community.

Lydia is also part of several active communities and has made significant contributions, including to CodeNight, one of the largest developer communities in Ethiopia.

This coming Friday, Lydia will be joining our panel discussion to share her story, journey, and insights that students can learn from her. Join us on Friday, May 17th, for a discussion on Lydia's programming journey, her reputation for building and leading active and engaging communities, her contributions, and more. Come to the event and engage with people who create nations through communities.

PLACE RESCHEDULE NOTICE

Hello GDSC Family,

We have an announcement about a venue reschedule. Due to some problems and issues we faced, we have decided to change the event location to the FBE Campus. All the programs and guests will remain the same.

The event will now take place at the FBE Eshetu Chole Building in the Ground Hall. Our organizers will be present throughout the area, so you won't have any trouble finding the place. For those unfamiliar with the FBE Campus or its location, you can come to the Main Campus (6 Kilo) and find FBE straight ahead. Alternatively, use the provided Google Map link.

If you have any questions, please use the @GDSCAAU channel's comment section. Our team will be actively responding to your inquiries.

Got my third sponsor, by the way, πŸ˜πŸŽ‰

It's from Gojo Host, and they want to be the sponsor for the #Nerd_Fest. So, we've secured another enterprise plan VPS hosting giveaway from Gojo Host, making it two winners for the #Nerd_Fest (at least for now 😊). They assured me that they'll be with #Nerd_space every step of the way, backing the project.

I really appreciate and thank them for their support, help, and willingness to be a part of #Nerd_space.

Thank God, our event was a success, even though we put it together in just a week. A big thanks to everyone who came and supported our GDSC community.

Our team worked really hard for this, even someone had to miss their midterm exam. I want to thank each member of our team and our leader for making it all possible.

Special thanks to our guests for sacrificing their precious time and coming to the event to share their experiences despite the struggles they faced ( skipping exam for one of our guest ) .

This event marks the start of our journey with GDSC AAU. We know there's a long road ahead, but with God's help, we believe GDSC AAU will become a place where people connect, learn, and have fun.

Big thanks to our sponsors ALX and Zebra stickers for being a part of our event and helping make it happen.

Also, we must mention our Platinum sponsor #Nerd_space. For those of you who didn't know, Nerd Space sponsored the VPS server prize😁. Let's give a big round of applause to our sponsors! πŸ‘πŸΌ

Oh, this is so cool! I got my Canvas from @temaritools. I really loved the idea of having a personalized templated notebook with unlined papers. Even though I don't usually write, I'm forcing myself to write to get into the vibe. @henoktesfa is the one who gave it to me, and he is also the founder of @temaritools. If you go to their Telegram mini app, you can choose the color, template, and every customization for your notebook. I mean, I ordered it and it was done in less than 24 hours. Yeah, if you like it, you should talk to @henoktesfa, and he'll get you your own flavored notebook with your own vibe! ✌️πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Thanks to @temaritools and @henoktesfa for the giveaway and also for making me start writing on paper again! 😁 He gave it to me yesterday after the event, and I tried it; it feels awesome.
