How do you handle working with terrible UI designs, especially for mobile apps (not my side project, btw)? I'd really like to hear your thoughts.

I'm currently working on the UI, but honestly, I don’t feel like it because the design is just bad. Please don’t ask your UI/UX designers to create ugly designs. I have a lot of work like State management, caching, authentication , but when I look at the UI, it just kills my motivation for the project.

It is the most overrated thing... Lemme explain why .. it is from my pov .. I used to bullied by the guys who really attend the class that I am not going anywhere and school is the only way out. It is also the question that I used to get a lot . So lemme break it down... I believe that university is a place where you got have to incubated , created and launched a lot of stuff ..and confident enough to start and build anything from the ideation.. it should not have to be a web , it could be AI , mobile apps , research papers and stuff like that... If this is your goal . Trust me the attending class is not a thing here. Even not even close. Some people say I don't wanna be web dev ..and they also do say I want to create and launch a business. Man you gotta have to go through from scratch like from html , learn all the designing, debugging, and collaborative and communication with team stuff to be the one who do a business from a product unless you are like a freaking billionaire to buy product and build on top of it ..which is not bad ..but you got have to be authentic. Build something . Let it fail . Go back and Do it all over again. like a recursive function until you reach your base case which might your turning point of your product. However just attending the class really waste your time .. it is something that AI can do it for you..there is nothing special and nothing except the grade thing ...trust me which is the most irrelevant thing ..even you won't even be asked man...except if you wanna be employed for the university itself even it is not that much mandatory but building a failed product is something that could take you to the next level and do something that AI can't do it .. since you all are in the outdated curriculum and it is something that AI is really proficient on. Even if you wanna be hired or build your own product , how grade can you be your turn on. Such a ridiculous. I'm not saying you should be doing a specific thing like develop app or something just it could be writing a research papers , or formulating and discovering your own theory - still class won't take you anywhere . Just grind up yourself for your future means like post university stuff....grind it alone and really hone your self thought skill by teaching your self about anything early on which it is the most valuable skill you should keep honing. School thing so overrated by parents and teachers , even you know the most of LECTURERs are not even qualified..i am not saying everyone but from my experience I only knew 1 or 2 qualified lectures. even the teachers won't be with you after grad man idk this is enough 🀣🀣... After grad there is too much competitor like people who been grinding , AI - AGI which was cooking and cooked by developers 🀣 and market itself if you wanna sell your skills. but try building or crafting stuff that ai won't reach.. hone your communication skills, problem solving ability, understand abstraction very well , up-to-date your self with current tech, design and debug well , teams work - build something with your friends , try launching it and let other people know about your product and iterate over the feedback and yeah ... I hope you will not read till here but it is what it is 🀣 just face your fears. I am tired of this shit fr...

If you've been on my channel for a while, you probably know I usually use Express as my JavaScript/TypeScript backend framework. However, lately, I've been drawn to Hono.js. It's super simple, lightweight, and fast. I mean, I even like the logo! 😁

If you've tried Hono, tell me about your experience and let me know why you personally prefer it over Express, if you do.

I'm working with the React Native Reanimated library, and it's quite fun working with animations and making the UI interactive. It really stands out. I've even tried some unconventional animated UI designs, and I succeeded with some and failed with others.

Another thing, if you want to have smooth and interactive transitions between your screens, you should check out the shared element transition technique. It makes it so wild!

Most of the time, when I get bored, I prefer to watch movies or look up design inspiration on the internet and try to clone a web/mobile project. This was my project for today. I used Native Wind for the styling and Reanimated for the simple animations.

On the other hand, debugging an Expo app is really exhausting. For some of the Reanimated functions, it was somewhat problematic, and I had to do some extra configurations to make it work.
