Thank God! After days of trial and error, I successfully fixed the bug and deployed the NerdSpace backend server online. Phew! It has been exhausting and somewhat annoying. I may have even acted a bit weird in a library for a moment; some might have seen me as an idiot, I don't know, but it worked! 😁💪 Thank you, God! 🙏🙏

I'm not going to mention the name of the college here, but I had managed to secure a scholarship for software engineering at a private college months ago. There were some requirements I had to meet in order to qualify for the scholarship. However, after fulfilling the requirements, the college seemingly abandoned me and other candidates. I find this surprising from a college that claims to be a top and an exclusive school. At first, they had made us think we had the scholarship, promising to contact us, but days turned into weeks with no word. When we went in person to ask about it, they gave vague answers, making it clear they had essentially abandoned us. It has been months since this happened.Some friends asked me about it when I mentioned getting into mechanical engineering and here am writing about it.

I haven't been active on Nerd Space for about 3 weeks or so, so let's take this afternoon to finish the deployment.... I was implementing Firebase storage, but someone recommended cloudinary and it's so easy to implement, so I'm going to be using cloudinary to store the post images, profile pictures, and also the cover photos.... I am planning to shift to Vercel to deploy the backend as some recommended I check it, mentioning its speed...so I might be shifting to Vercel...if not, I will continue with Render....It shouldn't take much time and I believe it will be done and exported by this afternoon.... I was working on some private projects and it took some of my time and focus...That's why I wasn't active in #Nerdspace
