there’s this saying: “you don’t get ready and then do the thing, you start and then learn how to do it.”

I genuinely don’t think there’s a level of skill where you’re finally “ready” to build real, working, or even big projects. you just start building and figure it out along the way.

I think losing my confidence was probably the biggest damage for me

share your progress and your product online. people can’t help if they don’t even know about your project. I’ve hosted projects with basically no money by getting help like free hosting, and i’ve seen other people get a ton of support through buy me a coffee and other means.

people genuinely like helping when you’re open, visible, and they can see you actually trying.

if the internship is a must for your school stuff, then finish it gn 😭but if you’re only doing it for the resume, i don’t think it’s worth it. i’d personally start teaching myself and build my own projects instead.

have a reason to build something, then learn as you go. don’t wait until you “know enough.” start building, hit problems, figure them out, and keep going

you’ll learn faster, retain more, and actually enjoy the process because you’re learning for a reason.

imo, building > endlessly watching tutorials.
