Introducing EthioDeploy
Deploying applications shouldn't require hours of server setup, DevOps knowledge, or an international credit card. We built this to make hosting simple for developers, startups, and businesses.
Connect your GitHub repository, push your code, and your application is online in seconds.
Here's what you get with EthioDeploy:
1. Automatic stack detection
Works out of the box with Next.js, React, Node.js, Python, and other popular frameworks.
2. Preview deployments
Every branch and pull request gets its own live preview URL so you can review changes before they go live.
3. Managed PostgreSQL and Redis
Create production-ready databases for your projects in just a few clicks.
4. Custom domains
Connect your own domain with free SSL certificates.
5. Built-in analytics
Track traffic and monitor your applications from a single dashboard.
6. Built for Ethiopia
Get started for free and pay in Birr. No international card required.
Check it out at ethiodeploy.com

found a pretty nasty bug in one of my projects π
a client side bug kept downloading the same files from Supabase Storage every few seconds. over the last ~3 weeks, it turned just 363 MB of media into 59 GB of bandwidth... enough for Supabase to suspend the project π ... so now i'm migrating the database + storage to a new Supabase project, compressing all the media, and fixing the bug so it never happens again.
will update y'all π₯

Dry run successfull π₯: this stage wonβt touch anythingβ¦ it just confirms if the script can connect to both projects and prints row numbers of both dbs

lowkey thinking of open sourcing this script or making it an npm package ... migrating from one Supabase project to another shouldn't be this painful
