Started teaching programming to kids at our church once a week (wish I had more time 😭). bruh... these kids are SMART. most of them have never really had access to programming, but the speed they pick things up and some of the questions they ask... sometimes I'm just standing there like "uhhh... good question" 😭.
The other day we talked about AI, and I asked what they thought about it .. most of them were told to avoid it completely .. some even said it's a "doomsday satanic technology" and that they should stay away from it at all costs .. trying to help them see it for what it actually is and why they should at least understand it because it's going to be part of their future is way harder than I expected.
The thing that worries me is they're allowed to spend hours on brainrot social media like TikTok, but they're strictly prohibited from touching AI ... you don't have to love AI .. you don't even have to use it yourself. but please don't stop your kids from trying it, playing with it, learning and experimenting with it. The future won't wait for them.

Built a simple lyrics & announcements presentation tool for our church in a day. Started as a web app, then pivoted to Electron.
It's basically a free alternative to tools like SimpleWorship with the core features you'd need. I'll share both the app and the source code so y'all can download it and use it.
