I've never really been inspired by Messi. I've barely even heard the guy speak English, let alone been inspired by him.
But Cristiano? I've never even watched football since elementary school, yet I've watched his clips, interviews, commentaries, and biography. That guy's an absolute legend. I was genuinely rooting for Portugal to win this World Cup. π

When I said Kobe = Cristiano, I meant the work ethic, discipline, and obsession with getting better. Not who's the better athlete or who has more trophies or stats. and who inspired me .. keep the football debates, stats, and trophy arguments to yourselves. I genuinely don't care, nor do I have the time for that stuff. You might enjoy it, but I REALLY don't.

This was my very first programming tutorial.
Back in 9th grade, I found a 4 hour HTML & CSS tutorial by The New Boston (Bucky Roberts) on YouTube. During the tutorial, he said, "You'll need Notepad++ as your text editor."
So I went to an internet cafΓ© to download it... and some guy there tried to charge me 20 birr for it.(Pretty sure he was a CS student too) I remember running like hell to the neighborhood shop, borrowing 20 birr while telling them, "My mom said she'd pay you back." π
Looking back, it's crazy.
A random guy decided to upload programming tutorials 16 years ago, and because of that, some random kid from Ethiopia found his way into software engineering.
Not every hero wears a cape/maskot. β€οΈ
