One of the reasons I've come to love this community is that it's this.

Peer pressure for devs/founders. I see the sheer volume of work my peers do. The level of expertise they have. And I can't help but get fired up.

So glad I started a channel when I did. I wish I was more active across the community (trying to be tho)

Trust me, there has never been a time when not trying was cool and trying + failing was cringe .. all it takes is one win and that can't happen unless you keep trying until you win, regardless of how big your goal is and how many times you failed.

The sad part is that there won't be any evidence in history that you ever tried if you don't make it and to be the kind of person who keeps going, you have to be delusional. you have to set the bar so high that you can't be satisfied, and you can't settle even if you want to let go.

and that might be the best thing that ever happens to you because your dreams are worth pursuing, chasing, and taking risks for. Deep down, you know you can't quit until it works. It's like you'll either do it or die trying. because quiting is no different than dying and your expectations of yourself won't let you. They'll make you miserable because you just can't let go of the goal.

was pretty sick for the last 36ish hours ... yesterday I was in bed the entire day ... went to the hospital last night and I have no idea what they did to me, but bruh... I was healed 😁🔥 ... they mentioned a bunch of scary infections and medical terms, but all I know is I could barely stand or even sit when I got there, and I felt way better by the time I got back home .. just finished my injections today, got some pills too, and now I can officially say I'm back to the grind. Thank God.

also, huge respect to all the doctors and anyone studying medicine or working in healthcare. What you do is actually insane. Drop your channel below and I'll give you a shoutout while I'm still feeling grateful 😁

My girlfriend hated when I made her pick places to go out.

And I don't really know too many places around the city (me dev. outside bad 🙂‍↔️). So I built this last weekend.

Spots scrapes popular review channels on TikTok and displays the results all in one place. You can save a spot, make a list of all the places you've been to with notes and reviews, and you can see what other people have said about places.

And the best part is that you don't have to be on TikTok to find cool places around Addis.

a friend asked me for date spot recommendations a few weeks ago, and this is literally what I did … went on TikTok and searched “date spots in Addis.” so if I had a girlfriend (applications are open, send your resume, I might “unlock In/ lock out” for the right one 😁), I would’ve definitely used this app.

also, Ben, please add a “Find Your Date” section. Seems like I’m the only dev in this country who still believes dating apps can and will work here 😭
