✔️ Dopamine detox

👍Dopamine detox is a concept that gained popularity in self-improvement and productivity circles. It involves taking a break from activities that overstimulate the release of dopamine in your brain, such as social media, video games, junk food, and other instant gratification sources. The idea is to reset your dopamine receptors and reduce dependency on these activities, leading to increased focus, motivation, and overall well-being.

Here's a general guide on how to use dopamine detox to your advantage:

Understand the purpose: Dopamine detox aims to reset your brain's reward system by reducing exposure to instant gratification activities. By doing so, you can regain control over your impulses and focus on more meaningful and productive pursuits.

Identify your triggers: Reflect on the activities that consume a significant portion of your time and contribute to procrastination or lack of productivity. Common triggers include social media, excessive screen time, video games, unhealthy snacks, and other addictive behaviors.

Plan your detox: Choose a specific period of time for your detox, such as a day, a weekend, or even a week. During this period, you'll avoid or limit your exposure to the identified triggers. Create a schedule or a set of guidelines to follow during the detox period.

Minimize external distractions: Eliminate or reduce access to the sources of temptation. Put your phone on silent mode or place it in another room, block or uninstall distracting apps, and inform friends or family members about your detox plans so they can support you.

Engage in alternative activities: Fill your detox period with meaningful and productive activities that don't rely on instant gratification. This could include reading books, exercising, meditating, spending time in nature, pursuing hobbies, or engaging in deep work or focused study.

Reflect and evaluate: After the detox period, take some time to reflect on your experience. Assess how it affected your focus, motivation, and overall well-being. Identify any insights or lessons learned during the detox and consider incorporating them into your daily routine.

It's important to note that dopamine detox is a self-imposed technique without scientific consensus. While many people find it beneficial, it's not a substitute for addressing deeper issues related to self-discipline, time management, or underlying mental health concerns. If you have significant challenges in these areas, it may be helpful to seek guidance from a qualified professional.

You guys are crazy! 🤣

In short, when you devote your time to something, you end up sacrificing something in return.

For me, programming is truly great, but at the same time, I feel that I've become more introverted day by day, and that's why I've started to hate it
Telegram story is now available.... soon we will be able to use it ..... Enjoy the best offer from the telegram team😍

As a programmer, you may find yourself facing imposters, and at times, it might feel like you haven't made any progress and have no idea what you're doing. The worst part is that there are numerous gurus out there who appear to have it all figured out. However, let me assure you, coding is not easy, and it's completely normal to feel lost and believe you're making no progress. But, it's essential to stop dwelling on the thought that you're a total waste of time and a loser and instead confront real problems.

Remember, coding is a journey, and everyone faces challenges along the way. It's okay to feel stuck, and reaching out for help and joining communities can be incredibly beneficial. Trust me when I say this because every programmer has been in your shoes at some point.

With persistence, determination, and the support of others, you'll overcome obstacles and continue to grow as a programmer. Don't compare yourself to gurus; focus on your own progress and keep learning. Embrace the challenges, and you'll become a better coder with each hurdle you overcome.

So, yesterday was one of those days where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. It all started innocently enough when I decided to stop my comfort with expo and dive into the world of React Native CLI. Little did I know that this adventure would consume my entire day!

First things first, let's talk about installation woes. Oh boy, it felt like I was climbing Mount Everest! The React Native CLI installation process seemed simple at first glance, but boy was I in for a surprise. Compatibility issues popped up left and right, making me question my life choices. 😩

And then there was Android Studio... Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? It sucked away hours of my precious time! It felt like navigating through a labyrinth of settings and configurations. Android Studio, why must you be so complicated? 😫

To add insult to injury, the internet decided to play games with me too. My connection kept dropping like a hot potato! Seriously, what is wrong with Ethiopian telecom? The frustration levels were off the charts as I desperately tried to troubleshoot and fix the issue. 🌐😡

But hey, amidst all the chaos and frustration, there were moments of triumph too! Every small victory felt like winning an Olympic gold medal. When that React Native app finally ran on my emulator or device without any errors... oh boy, pure bliss! 🎉💪

As self-taught programmers, we face these challenges head-on because we're passionate about what we do. We embrace the struggle and learn from it every step of the way.So yes, yesterday was an exhausting day, but it was also a day of growth and learning.

Becoming a self-taught programmer requires more than just motivation; it demands discipline. In this world, where determination and hard work are deeply ingrained, relying on discipline rather than motivation can be the difference between success and stagnation.

While motivation may fluctuate, discipline remains a constant force that keeps aspiring programmers on track. By establishing a structured routine, allocating dedicated time to learning, and adhering to it, self-taught programmers can ensure consistent progress.

Discipline enables programmers to overcome challenges, such as limited resources or a lack of formal guidance. It fosters a growth mindset, allowing programmers to embrace failures and setbacks as opportunities for learning and improvement.

This part of my life ( coding ) is called ...... Peace

@selfmadecoder
Hey programmers! Just wanted to let you know about an awesome podcast I found called "Tech Is The New Black." If you're looking for some motivation and inspiration, give it a shot – I think you'll really like it. Check it out!

@selfmadecoder
Am I the only one 🤔 or are there people like me who are using ChatGPT as a kindergarten teacher ? Let me explain 🗣… I always get stuck with some kind of error/bug … oh my god , I hate that part, it's like getting roasted by a computer . But here comes my lazy personality . I always try to understand the problem by myself , but sometimes I really find myself having a hard time understanding what is going on with the code . So guess what I'll do… I give the error message to ChatGPT 🤝

Some of you guys are saying… what is so surprising about it? We all do that always… but wait, I didn't tell you the main part… (drum roll 🥁) I'll paste the code and tell ChatGPT to explain the error like I'm explaining it to a 10-year-old kid …

Voilà 🎉, and that way, dude… I'll gain my coding wisdom , 'cause I know nobody is going to understand some kind of bug or programming concept better than me… and dear programmers , let me tell you this—don't hesitate to do what I did… just throw your pride and learn complex concepts with ice cream and lollipop madness . I hope that'll help a lot—thanks !

I sometimes feel like I'm really living up to my username, "tech nerd" 🤓. It's funny how just two years ago, when I picked that name, I never imagined I'd get so into this stuff. But now, coding is on my mind all the time . Whether I'm in the bathroom or lying in bed , I'm thinking about coding. Even when I'm hanging out with my friends , all I talk about is coding. They're probably like, "Doesn't this guy have anything else to say?" 🤷‍♂️

I don't know why, but it's like I'm pushing myself hard to get really good at coding . But in the process, I'm realizing that I'm changing a bit to keep a balance with who I am . Trying to be awesome at coding and super outgoing at the same time is a bit tough.

I'm curious what you all think about this 🤔. Since most of the people I talk to are into coding too , I'm guessing you've dealt with this too.

guys here is a recommendation channel from my buddy check it out.
