Let me tell you about something important I learned in my economics class. Even though I'm not a big fan of the subject, there's a basic idea that stuck with me – not just for the class but for life in general.

Enough with the intro, right? Let's talk about opportunity cost. It's a simple concept that explains that to get something, you have to give up something else. The thing you give up is called the opportunity cost. We make decisions all the time, but have you ever thought about what you had to give up to make those choices?

An API is like a link between the front and back of a website, acting similar to a waiter in a restaurant. Imagine the kitchen as the website's backend, handling food logic, and the database as a store with ingredients. The frontend is like the food you see on the table after ordering in a restaurant.

Here's how it works: when you (the client) want something from the "restaurant" (website), you choose from a menu, like API endpoints on a website. Your backend responds only if your request is valid. The API, like a waiter, takes your request and tells the backend. Once the backend finishes, the API gets the response and shows it to the frontend, similar to a waiter bringing your food.

✨ Offline Survival Manual

I am a huge enthusiast of offline guides and manuals. I think most major apps should work offline and so forth, that is why I keep building offline versions of essential apps. ☺️

And now I built an Offline Survival Manual. It is basically Wikipedia but for survival. If you're in a dire situation the information in this app will definitely help you!! πŸ”₯

It has a VAST amount of information, from fire starting to medication, from signaling to making shelter... And so many more. There are illustration and tables to make the guides even more understandable. 😍

Download it here
β€’ https://t.me/Dagmawi_Babi/16790

As always it's open source

Don't forget to read it before you're actually in a survival situation.
